New animation project from Rooster Teeth (creators of 'Red vs Blue'). There's precious little information available---pretty much all I know is what one can glean from the trailer.

Looks pretty wild.

That animation is slick as ****.

From a purely visual standpoint, I'm pretty stocked. Reminds me of a discussion AI and I had about a singular, bold color [red, specifically, even!] on black. It stands out really nicely when it's the only thing colored. Nice colors, nice animation. Nice.

It'd be nice if the story were compelling, but that's a bit hard to tell from a trailer about killing things. They were killed creatively, though. Dat weapon.

Yeah. I wonder whether they mo-capped it or animated it from scratch---Monty Oum, the leader of the project, is apparently the man in charge of motion capture at Rooster Teeth. Also a pretty accomplished martial artist in his own right; I'm given to understand he's the man choreographed the crazy-ass action setpieces these past few seasons of RvB. In any case, it looks keen.

Like the music, too.

So. That was 'Red'.

Here's 'White'.

I think I like it so far. It's got a few things which I can't just ignore (like where are the ear details, that's weird), but otherwise an interesting idea.
Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself.

I'm very much looking forward to this (it's hard for me not to, being a huge fan of Rooster Teeth), what I've seen so far looks pretty great. I love the minimalistic coloring style, and the over the top action and weapons are pretty awesome. The series is supposed to premiere at this year's Rooster Teeth Expo, which takes place July 5-7.

I love the way it looks visually and the soundtrack so far so really it's starting to look like there's no way I can come out not really enjoying this

'Black' just hit.

More of a story to this one---not a whole lot, but ehhh. No knowing how they connect as yet. Still, each piece has worked as sheer spectacle if nothing else so far---I'm willing to give them the bennie of the doubt.

I think "White" is still my favorite, so far. Visuals on all of them are gorgeous and the monster-killing has been badass and legit, but the music and the designs and stuff seemed way more generic in this one I guess?

Still enjoyable and I'm still pumped for this but this one was the least awesome imo

Yellow trailer was just released.

Anything I can say has already been said about the other 3 trailers. The dialogue and lip syncing could use some work, but the action and animation are top notch and awesome as always. Weiss (White) was my favorite for a while but Yang (Yellow) might just be making me reconsider...

Also I know nobody here will know what I'm talking about but hearing Jack Patillo as Junior (the bearded guy) made me laugh so much.

Was that Jack? I have a hard time telling between him and Ryan sometimes. I assume it was one or the other of them.

Man, I'm so hyped for this thing to get underway. Won't be long, now.

I got to see the Yellow premiere at A-kon this past weekend, and was able to sit in on the panel with Monty Oum and the rest of the Rooster Teeth group that went, but I was so far back I couldn't hear half the stuff they said.

that video got taken down. jerks. here's another one let's see how long it lasts

Still gotta say White's my favorite, but the fighting and animation is just SO COOL OMG. Like Yellow's VA a lot, too. I'm really looking forward to this.

And here I thought I was the only one who liked White, I love the choreagraphy for hers.

Less than a month away before the premiere, getting excited.

I gotta say this is probably one of the most successful marketing/hype strategies I've seen in some time. I'm so stoked for this.

The first episode aired a few days ago. At the moment it's only on their website.

Is it weird that I think the credits are the best part of the video...? Cause that song was freaking awesome. Anyway, not bad for the first episode, it just wasn't as spectacularly mind-blowing as I hoped it would be. Honestly I think the series' hype has worked against it a bit, people forget that it's a web series being made by a small, independent production company. That being said, it's still pretty awesome, the voice acting fits much better, and the action is as top notch as ever. I look forward to what they do next.
