UK Anime Network News - Director Satoshi Kon passes away

The guy who directed the films Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers and Paprika, as well as the TV series Paranoia Agent, passed away at age 46 yesterday.

That's ****ing awful. Dude was easily one of my favorite filmmakers, animated or not. Tokyo Godfathers is still one of my favorite movies, because it has such a quiet sort of power to it that I found really cool when I watched it. RIP. Damn.
