. What I'm most interested is in the atmosphere. If they can get the Silent Hill 1 atmosphere (all the other Silent Hills are crap) then they've won me over. That's the only thing on a television screen that's EVER managed to scare me. In fact, no form of entertainment except for Silent Hill has ever managed to scare me. Loud music and a sudden scream doesn't count, that's just shocking, not scaring, and it's an extremely cheap-ass and unoriginal way to try to scare someone. But Silent Hill just had something about it. The atmosphere of incredible tension, your monster-detecting radio going off slightly, hearing monsters' cries in the distance... that freaked me out.
