I'm surprised the game is still technically getting content, that's neat. I wonder if they're working on a new entry yet. I kinda expect an enhanced port for Switch 2.

I also think Sakurai has said that before (or I'm getting him mixed up with Kojima).
Unless they go in a radical new direction then I assume SSB6 will build heavily off of SSBU, which itself had SSB4 do a lot of the heavy lifting. I think he'll squeeze out at least one more entry, then step back into a more passive role.
