Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight

I haven't seen it since I was really little; too little to know what the plot was. Watching it again, and I can confirm that yes it does actually have one. Who knew?

I have now finished the entire original Fullmetal Alchemist series, for the most part, along with the movie.

...I don't want to start over with Brotherhood. :(

Ooooooooooooooohhhhhhh I could discuss that for HOURS.

I watched only the original for ages before I finally agreed to watch Brotherhood. I was convinced it'd either be more of the same, or not as good, or just different. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was so obsessed with the original that I figured there was no way Brotherhood could surpass it.

Then I watched it, and Brotherhood blew the former's socks off. Those socks flew into the freaking stratosphere. They are gone.

The ending is eighty bajillion times a) more epic, b) more logical, c) more climactic, and d) more of an ending [like it gives more closure]. There were a lot of things that the series was building for that Brotherhood finally closed up with the ending those things were intended for all along, that didn't have the same impact in the original.

trust me it is way awesomer I have been converted AND SO CAN YOU

---

ok also the last thing I watched was the new Adventure Time

Showing The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya to my old roommate on visits. He's liking it quite a bit so far. Makes me happy, because it's my favorite, yo.

speaking of fave faves.... the last thing I watched was actually not a fave fave but the first episode of Noir because I needed my fix of hot chicks killing people in badass ways

I just watched this anime called Another. It's basically if Final Destination were an anime, but much better. I really liked it. I actually marathoned the whole series in two days, as it's only twelve episodes long.

Working on Legend of Korra. I dig the setting, but I'm not feeling the characters.
