We did get to see a purple unicorn casually march towards the gates of the Underworld in order to return naughty ol' Cerberus.

That's something, right?
Yes, good episode. The reused scene probably felt more off to me since I saw the scene several times before it aired.
It probably came down to "hey we need 2 more minutes of show, how can we waste them" more than anything

At the very least, it allows you to see the scene again in a different light.

This really isn't as important as you make it out to be.

Oh, yeah, I saw that. I also think one of the writers said that was intentional, so... yeah, how nice of them.

I'm still not gonna watch that show, though.

I've seen a little bit of the show. Not quite the end-all be-all show that a lot of people are making it out to be, but it's pretty enjoyable and more well-written than the average person would expect.

Don't get caught up in the whole "aauugh, best/manliest show ever" mindset, or really with much of the fandom at all. There are some crazy, obsessive people out there.

If you want to give it a fair try, do it at your own leisure.

Today's episode was pretty awesome.
Fluttershy was pretty great in the opening. I can't believe the teen dragons were pressuring Spike into killing that baby phoenix. That's some dark stuff.
Actually, interacting with the right parts of the fanbase is actually a fairly enjoyable experience.
So, dragons are immune to lava? Makes sense, but still...

Aprons are for winners.

That phoenix isn't going to appear until season 3, is it?
But for some reason, this episode felt emptier than usual.

Since all of you refuse to watch anything else on this channel, here's the promo for the next episode:

That explains the 'hurricane' in "Hurricane Fluttershy". Thoughts?

By referencing more obscure mythology, they actually get some darker stuff into the show than the censors would allow otherwise.

But we already knew that. What, with Hell and all.
