I caught the full episode on Saturday. I have the same feeling as I got when I first watched Beast Wars. Making a new Scorponok kicks ass.

What I don't get: The stupid Voltron looking lion things that attack in endless waves. Dumb.

What I like: nameless grunts getting annihilated. Finally. They actually brought in regular troops that get slaughtered in the battles by enemies. That is so much better than the same five jerkasses shooting at each other AND MISSING. Hopefully they kill off some main characters aside from Optimus Prime (since he'll likely bite the dust and get resurrected AGAIN).

What I wish would evolve or change: the animation. As it stands, the characters don't move fluidly enough, and the 3D look only makes the artwork look sloppy. This could be because its an early episode though. Frag effects on the explosions that hit the nameless fighters would be nice (as opposed to the cloud of explosion and nothing).

I was actually impressed, and I'm now interested in the series. They started off with more characters, so hopefully they keep bringing in more.

I admit the animation isn't the best, but I think it's adequate.

Are you the first person besides me on this board to enjoy this show?

Yeah, I think I am the only one here that likes it besides you. It has a real Beast-Wars feel to it. Hopefully it doesn't get ****ty.
