Someone just stabbed themselves in the eye with a sharp fork.
Actually, I just stabbed myself in both eyes with a extra sharpened fork.

...and it’s bound to be just as funny as everything else writer/director’s Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer (“Meet the Spartans”, “Epic Movie”) have done up to this point.
Really......

Thanks for the warning, Mr. Moviehole.net writer person. ;)

I really don't see the point in this. I mean, it's one thing to not like their movies, but just because they aren't the best doesn't mean we need a new topic. If anything you'd be helping them for the Google keyword search.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
So.....
What happens when Romans feel out of place?

Besides, I'd have to reuse my joke about how the Adjective Movie Guys go hand-in-hand with a piece of Cowpie.

Mel Brooks said it best, that a parody (or spoof) is only funny if what you're parodying is great - and if you take the comedy seriously. I don't think that most comedy writers take what they're making seriously anymore - relying on innuendo and toilet jokes to get their audience roaring. We've seen it all, and we've been desensitized to it. What ever happened to irony, incongruency, and under-emphasizing or over-emphasizing what's important/unimportant. The guys who make these "Insert genre here Movies" are really trying too hard, methinks. Sure they're following on whatever is the current trend, and maybe that's the problem. But that's just my opinion.

^^And that's why I like Walk Hard so much, because it takes its cues from the spoof films of old.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

watch at your own risk

From the looks of things, they are not only spoofing movies, they are also spoofing TRAILERS of movies (especially since quite a few of the films spoofed in this trailer are less than two months old...or not even out yet)

The whole "Scary Movie" crew should have quit after the Wayans left.

Did nobody learn from In Living Color?

I think I would've quit as soon as I saw the name "Wayans" mixed with "movie."

Maybe "Wayans" and "TV" I wouldn't mind...

I thought Scary Movie 1 & 2 were pretty decent, as they didn't try and parody every single movie possible and simply parodied the overall scope of the horror genre. They had the characters down, the inconsistencies of some things down, and it's own plot.

3 struggled, 4 was terrible, and so did every (Genre) Movie hereafter.

My urge to kill is staying pretty stable. Pretty stable at a hugely high level, but pretty stable.
