HELL YES!!! Make him live and explain himself about his suspicions. It's what I'm doing... NO VOTING FOR HIM FROM THIS FAERIE... not today, at any rate. If circumstances change in the coming days, I'll vote according to things then...

Do either of you have anything to say about this?Blake wrote:Okay this is interesting actually.
Garo's do kill themselves.
"To die without a corpse, that is the way of the Garo"
"Eastern Peninsula is most definitely the answer"
Garos have knives too.
Wyborn even brought up the Garo.
Wyborn did ask if Daos was the first to vote for him.(Personally I'm not familiar with this role, so can someone help me if I'm veering off track or if I have somewhat of an understanding?)

ZG... seriously... why are you voting Wy? Why are ANY of you "trusting" him and his plea of too much work, etc. He knew what it'd be like when he signed up. He's played before. And you're going to accept this and just vote him off? Because he asked you to?
I confessed in a lie... you didn't vote for me... so why is Wy's plea a better reason to give him what he wants?
AREN'T YOU SUSPICIOUS OF HIS REAL REASONS?????

Call me a silly faerie but I think Wy is laying a trap... and the Townies won't like it. Not everyone in this game falls into Townie, Mafia and Slasher...
From the last game (oh hell I brought it up again... sue me if you can't lynch me) I remember that Crav introduced independents.
Wy just may be an independent. With an agenda that none of us can foresee until we lynch him.
I'm terribly suspicious of his reasons... and I will not play into this sadistic plea. I also like how Silvie ignores 20 pages and just does as Wy asks her... nice way to think for yourself, neh????
What am I going to do... mark Wy down as an independent that could harm the Townies with a lynching and hope like crazy the Mafia gets him...

So I just got home, and on the car ride home, I put some good thought into this topic. I didn't want to act on something huge while I was there because it required a lot of fact checking and possible traps. Here's what I see:
FoS: HotD
Because...
I've never had anything concrete against you. I don't keep elaborate dossiers of every player here, most notably because I don't have enough time to do so. (While this game is insanely fun, my life doesn't revolve around this topic.) Even if I did, I don't think HotD would have flagged up as suspicious otherwise. However, I'm not sure if Wy is searching and feeling his way around this one or if he saw something that we all missed, but HotD has acted extremely odd since that time. However, this has all been something that's very non-concrete
However, if Wyborn truly intends to vote himself off, we'll have some hard evidence as far as what side of the game he's on. If he's Mafia, then we can discount everything he's said. But Wyborn is talking like a martyr here, that by voting him off, it will help our game. If this line of thought is true, then HotD could be a Townie at best if Wyborn was just plain wrong.
I'm willing to give this a test, if only to see where this leads. Maybe something solid will result from this. Consider this a pre-emptive FoS for Day Two.
---
Blake, you've put a lot of effort into your strategy. Almost too much. Granted, it sounds like you want to help the team as much as you can before being dispatched. However, part of me is very curious about this whole thing. I haven't gone back to look at context about any of this. I really should. The question that's been in my head all day at work (again, I haven't verified this) is whether or not the individual quotes, when ripped out of context, actually spell what you're trying to say OR if the sum is worth considerably less than the parts. In short, when you remove all context, is it saying something that the context does not support?
I frankly don't know. This has just been the idle thought that was distracting me from the infernal frustrations of C++'s preprocessor hell nightmare.
No FoS on you. But I have the nagging thought. FYI.
---
IAN I'm chalking up to a very strong mistake. I've made one already; they happen. I'm actually quite surprised at how many votes IAN managed to pull before finally they were retracted. o_o;

Vote: Wyborn
You get your wish, Wy. I certainly hope the details spell things clearer in the morning.
FoS: HotD

Just how far into Hell are you going to walk with Wyborn, HotD?Heroine of the Dragon wrote:And, I'm surprised that none of you are suspicious that Wy has nothing substantial against me STILL and yet totally ignore that when you're all gung-ho regarding me proving my innocence. How about you find soemthing to prove Wy's theory is not the lie that it is.

I don't know, Blake... I just know that Wy has been adamant that I should go... even though he admits he has no concrete evidence.... and so I don't know why Wy would wish to influence the game with his own lynching. I haven't begun to understand Wy and his targetting of me. Something in his role means he wants me gone?? I haven't played any other Mafia game except the previous one... I've also not studied the whole "Mafia for Dummies" manual.
Of all people, I know you expect me to be the first to vote for Wy after the way he's targetted me. *laughs*
I love irony...

Not really, Hottie. I expected you to tell everyone to not vote for me.
For obvious reasons.
I think I have nine so far. NintendoGod, I know you're watching...

Um Yay? You could have kept your vote on me... after all, by your reasoning, "HotD could be a Townie at best if Wyborn was just plain wrong."
It's perfectly okay to vote off Townies and help the Mafia now, is it, TML?
And he is wrong... so you gotta understand why I keep wondering what Wy's agenda is in trying his hardest to get rid of me... even if he's lynched... he's set me up... or you could tell me I just imagined that, too???
I am so amused that I'm on one hand trying to keep Wy... yet still wondering what he's doing and WHY he's doing it...

My eyes... they burn from the mounds of text...
Okay, I need some sleep soon, and there's no way I can come CLOSE to reading all of this before then. I want to address Blake's post (by the way, kudos for that. This is a lot more interesting now), but I need to at least skim everything first, because apparently a LOT has changed in... 7 hours.
Bear with me for a minute.
