Zelda Mafia Round 2 Night One (IMPORTANT, REPLACEMENT NEEDED!)

Is everyone else ready to vote Blake? I'm willing to vote for either person, but if I can't get Hottie hung today I am willing to compromise for a more viable target.

I'm voting at the latest 20 hours from now. The time I can devote to this topic will be approximately 3 hours from now till then. I the reason I allowed so much time was to give ML a chance to speak.

My suspiciouns of ML have been assuaged, though not entirely. My suspicions of Blake are currently a little stronger. I'd rather note vote within the hour, as I want to hear from Blake again. I will play this one by ear, but I will have a vote by Thursday, 9:30 PM GMT at the latest.

That was a pretty roundabout way to answer your question, but I'm just not sure what I want to do yet.

I've never asked for evidence. Your inpatience is making you read too much into things. I simply stated that I find it suspicious that you outright refuse to give eveidence to back up your votes. Not only does that "protect you", should you be Mafia, but it also gives the rest of us Townies less of an opportunity to form a united front. If you've discovered something that makes you vote for someone, then we should all be privy, so we can judge if it's sufficient to also vote with you.

Point is, Wyborn, you just voted. And why? I'm definitely not the only person here who will fail to see what puts HotD in such a suspicious light.

This I'll grant a "fair enough". But you should apply that advice sparingly - if it's a concept that will get a Mafia hung without getting a hero killed, go right ahead.

Abandon that line of thinking. It is the best defense a mafioso could possibly have and in no way indicates that she could somehow figure out who the "real Mafia" is on day one.

And I'm trying to push a vote for a pretty simple reason:

Being a Townie is frustrating when days this damn long are long almost exclusively without any actual action being taken. For Mafia it's fine - for a Townie it's just freaking mind-bending.

This little taboo needs to be thrown out the window. Hanging townies is a necessary consequence of making incorrect assumptions. It's something that happens in every game that last for more days than there are mafiosos. Scary? Yeah. Threatening? Certainly.

But it's not something that merits hanging by itself. This is something people need to realize - being wrong is a natural part of this game. It appens. I hope it won't happen here but it is a very real possibility - one we all need to accept. We cannot let it stop us from acting.

There's still plenty of time left for us to gather enough information to make a better educated vote, instead of throwing it around like you just did.

This assumption is ridiculous. There is no hard information to be gathered right now. Those who are quiet will stay quiet - coming out, if they are Mafia, is not in their best interest. I have no reason to believe anything significant will change in the next 48 hours/pages.

Just so everybody knows, the past tense of "hang" when referring to an execution is "hanged," not "hung." When you use "hung" to refer to a person, it means something else entirely. I won't go there, but I think you know what I mean. :o

I, for one, find Blake's behavior and Tazy's rantings on whatever more suspicious than I find Hottie, which isn't to say that I DON'T suspect her, but rather, that I think if I had to vote, I would vote for either Blake or Tazy FIRST.

Any thoughts?

Sorry, wasn't ignoring you, ZG... just got distracted by Wy's all-encompassing knowledge about who I am and what my role is and how I play and if I can lie or not.

If you can come to the conclusion that ML's and Wy's fabrications are stronger, better and more believeable than mine, ZG, then go ahead.
