For all you Negative Nancies (ZG, Rayman, S_K)
So, you're quicker to defend Wy because of last game, but use that same reasoning AGAINST myself and Hottie? How does that make sense? If you are going to ignore last game completely, then you can't just say you're less suspicious of Wy because "oh, he was already mafia." That's inconsistent.
My FoSes were simply to warn people away from blindly following you two. This is why I didn't FoS Wy--nobody would blatantly follow someone they recognize as a bad guy. I'll admit, maybe FoSing you was a little harsh to get the point across, but that's all I was trying to do. Wyborn wouldn't have that good guy point to go off of like you two would.

Basically, I'm stopping people from blindly following you two, while at the same time trying to get people to recognize Wy as someone they shouldn't simply discount. That's all I was trying to do. Seriously, ask my conscience--he'll tell you the exact same thing.

Apparently, I read into things differently than you do. Who's to say who's right about what people really meant, but I got certain impressions from these players:

1. You two gals seem to be trying to lead, much like the last game.
2. People seem to be willing to follow.
3. People seem to listen to you two over Wy, and this is possibly because of the last game.
4. People are basing opinions off the last game too much.

Do you see where I'm going? I don't want the blind leading the blind--or in a worse case, the smart leading the blind.
Um, what? Are you retracting your vote because of our suspicions? What are we being hasty about? No one has voted for anyone else... yet.

You didn't dispel my suspicions about you Marilink. If anything, you made them stronger than ever.
You guys were awfully quick to jump on an "FoS: ML" bandwagon. I understand why, I made a little mistake, but still.

And I know nobody has voted for anyone, and neither have I. I'm just trying to get a point across.

And so all of you more clearly understand, I'll bold the main idea of this post:

I FoS'd HotD and ZG so people wouldn't be so quick to heed everything they say. In retrospect, FoSing probably wasn't the smart thing to do and I should have actually explained myself in stead of taking the short route. I apologize for this. For more details, actually read the post.

Double post: et tu, ian? Come on, man, I thought we were tight.

KILL THE SML. SPILL IT'S BLOOD. [/joke]

FoS: ML

I'm finding you to be quite supspicous(SP), for most of the reasons that have been given. I don't see how ZG and HotD are "leading" people places at all. I'll be watching you. ;)

DP: Remember, just a FoS, plus I posted taht before ML posted his latest post.

Who's abandoned RPing? RPing is awesome. My upcoming post (in the next couple of hours, culminating in a vote) will be an RP post.

And guess what? One part of i_am_nobody's reasoning makes sense to me: I'm not letting inactives off the hook for whatever reason. It's too easy to hide that way.

Post to come soon.

Gyrarg!

Read my last post in case you missed it, X-3. Please. I realize I dug myself a deep hole, here, but this is also my first time playing.

Oh, and I love how no one's defending me. Jerks.

You're actually the pillar on which my vote stands.

Excuse me a while. I leave you all with that.

Good lord, do I have to lock the thread just to keep up?! Spammers. :p

ML, I can accept that you made a harsh move. All the same, I don't think you can assume people will follow ZG and HotD simply because they had some good sense last game, just the same as people might grow to trust Wy, Daos or any of the old Mafia members. I don't really think you're incredibly suspicious right now (although, as with everyone else, I don't trust you as far as I can throw you XD).

I would like to point out that this is basically why my suspicions of Marilink have been partly assuaged (as I said in my last post directed at him).
The Marilink Companion Cube wrote:I FoS'd HotD and ZG so people wouldn't be so quick to heed everything they say. To a point, I can understand this mistake, especially if we take the last game into account.

Still, ZG made several points (that I would have made if she wasn't a posting demon!) that keep my FoS on ML. Read post 363 for these.

Right now, this is what I want everyone who's suspicious of ML to consider. If any of you are blindly following the recent FoS trends (which I suspect to be the case for some of you), PLEASE take what I and everyone else have said into account, form your own opinions, and let us all know what you think.

Fair enough, SD. But I stand by the 4 points that I made--it's just the tone I was getting from reading.

And, damn, Wy, you're making me nervous.

[quote="zg]

Other townies"]

Well, I know that in THIS round it did say to defeat all evil... but seeing as how I was Ingo last round, I can't contribute to this.

Oh, and I'll admit it... I'm FoSing hottie with reasons mainly based off of last round. I hate myself for it, but it's really hard to shake those feelings... she's acting eerily similar to last round; I know it's a silly reason to FoS someone, but... eh.

Not to mention I figured FoSing was a good conversation starter, and lo and behold... I was right. We're getting lots of important discussion in; I can only hope it proceeds so well.

TML... I must have just skimmed your previous post; I thought you said somewhere that you would not mind voting for Gearz... if you never said any such thing; I don't really have too much of a reason to suspect you anymore.

Retract FoS: TML
...but I'm still watching you.

(Oh, and before any of you attack me for not retracting my HotD FoS, it's simply because it seemed to me she acted a bit more defensively when FoS'd than she did last game. Then again, there is a large chance I am wrong... heck, these are suspicions, not votes or anything... they're meant to portray small feelings toward somebody; nothing huge)
I believe in second chances, and that's why I believe in you.

Important discussion all about me. D:

Anyway, Rayman, I didn't feel the need to dispute every one of ZG's points because I thought I made a pretty sweeping statement at the top of this page. If you can apply what I said to everything ZG said in pt363, I think you'll get what I was trying to do.

The biggest fault with using the last game as basis for judgement is that one would then assume that someone is acting differently to hide sometime, or acting the same way to hide something. I tend to see it as, people are (for the most part) acting as themselves, and we're probably all way off because of rampant suspicions :D

But it's cool, ML. I get where you're coming from, it was presented suddenly and without enough explanation in the beginning. I still don't see how either of them are "leading", though. ;)

Post by Daos » Wed Dec 05, 2007 10:12 pm

Daos was getting very concerned. Hours had passed since the initial news and all the people of Clock Town had managed to do was shout and point fingers at each others. It was like jumping at shadows, a concept Daos was very familiar with especially as the day came to a close and the shadows in the corners of his shop seemed to hide dark secrets. To make matters worse the old woman from the Inn had already tried to tell him a story twice and called him Tortus at least eight times. Daos decided it was time to speak up.

"Ummm, I really...think..umm...I mean."

Daos noticed the annoyed looks facing across everyones faces and swallowed.

"We need...need to take out the...uhh...Mafia soon, we should, should, vote soon I mean, I mean vote you know, soon."

Embarassed Daos sat back down and hoped no one would make fun of him.

Daos is right; but we also need to be careful and certain before voting. We can't risk killing a townie or hero; and there are many of them.

Well, what defines "leading"? In this game, leading seems to be anyone willing to step up and let their opinions be known, and try to convince others of their ideas. Which is a sign of both Townie and Mafia. With that in mind, then yes, ZG is leading.

Wyborn is also leading.

You, ML, are leading.

CL is leading.

RaymanFreak is leading.

When TML is on, he is leading.

I see myself as leading, in some ways.

In fact, most of us are "leading" in one way or another. So where are you drawing the line? What makes your own form of leadership different to "ours"? ;)
