Zelda Mafia Round 2 Night One (IMPORTANT, REPLACEMENT NEEDED!)

Look, guys. I'm not voting for HotD or ZG, I'm just a little suspicious. Like Wy said, FoS's aren't official things, and I'm not trying to lynch them right away.

Now see here: Whether or not HotD and ZG have gained a following, I'm not sure. My FoS's are mainly just warding people away from being led. At least, to me, it was slightly obvious that those two gals were trying to get everyone in the game on their side.

I have no clue if they're mafia or townies. I mean, really, if I knew for sure, I would have voted for them, right? Just the fact that the two of them are being so vocal about everything leads me to put a watchful eye on them.

And to all you people who say HotD hasn't posted much, you're probably right...but she's said a lot in few words. To me, reading this topic it seemed as though whatever HotD said, people agreed, mostly on the principle that "oh, it's Hotster. She's cool, right?" Same goes for ZG, except she's been more vocal and overall an easier FoS to explain.

Now, Wy, on the other hand. Most of his posts have been math, people. The only vocal thing other than that was the TML matter, which is more or less resolved. Plus, he didn't have the "good guy last time" thing going for him, either.

I'm not trying to vote them out or trying to lynch them right now, people. What my FoS's were doing were trying to get people to forget the last friggin' round, because everything this time is brand spankin' new.

And since you all are bein' so hasty, I'ma retract my FoS, but I'm still watching those two.

Oh, and Rayman, please never give me a deadline of, like, 3 hours ever again. I'm in basketball and the musical, so I was pretty much really freaking lucky that I had a chance to get on the computer before you voted for me all willy-nilly. Giving me such a short time to explain myself is unfair to me.

I wasn't actively trying to do that - my goal was to throw out ideas and have people go off of that. I wouldn't say anything was "obvious" (unless it is, then it's just not obvious to me).

ML, I've tried to encourage people to NOT religiously take my side! I've had to tell people to not trust me absolutely, because I don't know if I'm right - I'm just trying to get people acting and thinking. I don't want anyone on my side (granted, I certainly will try to actively keep them from going against me ), but I'm not trying to say "Everyone needs to listen to me because I am teh awesomesauce and rocked last game!"

I wouldn't say that at all. I would say the opposite - people are heeding her words, but still keeping an eye on her.

Er... not really. Only a few have been, actually. Which makes me curious that you are so quick to write off Wy, because he was "evil last time." That don't mean squat.


What I don't get is this:

So, you're quicker to defend Wy because of last game, but use that same reasoning AGAINST myself and Hottie? How does that make sense? If you are going to ignore last game completely, then you can't just say you're less suspicious of Wy because "oh, he was already mafia." That's inconsistent.

I'm not retracting my FoS, because I find this inconsistent behavior troubling...

I've decided that I will vote tomorrow at 9:30 PM GMT/VGF time at the latest.

Maybe I should have said "Thursday" and not "tomorrow," but I thought this was still pretty clear. If VGF has a clock set option that I don't know about, and if you've set yours for your own time, I can see where the confusion comes from. I only recently returned to these boards, and my clock runs on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

Also, ZG pretty much just said everything else I wanted to say (while I was typing it, no less. Good thing I checked the topic again). Since I can understand that you'd (Marilink) want to "ward people away from being led," I've grown a little less suspicious of you. Still, I agree with most of ZGs other points, and my position stands. I'm not really any closer to making my decision, but I will stick to my deadline.

I don't want people to just vote with the majority (or me, for that matter)... I want people to look at what's already happened and try to come up with their own conclusions. Different points of view may allow people to see things differently and more clearly. So, really, try and read closely and objectively - NOT with the majority, necessarily. It won't hurt us to examine everything as thoroughly as possible.
