By the way, you probably already know this, but the image has to be uploaded to a website.
I know, it sounds dumb but you'd be surprised how many people try to link to an image on their hard drive.

A URL is just the web address. For instance,
http://www.smbhq.com is a URL. If you wanted to post the NC forum banner, just click on image and type in
ubb/nclogo.gif and it will be this ->
