To Kamek: People have feelings too. Even Me, Mr. E Krabs, Lupus, Max, even the allmighty Shane has feelings too. You need to "Friendly" bash users, because you got alot of praise and laughter when you bashed WsW, and got alot of fighting when you Bashed Max. When you made that stupid topic about Mr. E Krabs, it was locked. Try to bash people who WANT to be bashed or people who deserve it (Not I! You already bashed me, remember?) And here's an Idea if you wanna bash someone: BASH MEG!!!

Bashing Meg got old and died about 10 times. I believe you're the one who killed it, Zak.

^Oh so I see. Anything done by me is stupid. So if anything I do in my comix is stupid, then maybe I'll start bashing other people in the exact same way Kamek did. Then that'll be stupid and Kamek will probably go: "OMG! Zak bashes too? Bashing is no2 stupid, so maybe I'll just go back to the plain old jokes in my comic!" Any jokes I do is stupid now huh? What a dumb opinion.

Uh...no. I was referring about how just about every of your comics a while ago were all like "OMG KILLZ MEG!!!1    "

But if you think that way about yourself, tI don't care.

^I read the comics where Zak bashes Meg. A) They are nothing like that, ya hear? B) Zak doesn't spell that badly C) They weren't trying to kill just Meg, they were trying to kill HIM too and D) You're probably just jelous that Zak got to Meg before you did.

Pffff. Who the hell is HIM anyway?

And why would I be jealous over something retarded like that? I didn't even WANT to bash Meg. I tell ya, compared to some of the other losers we've gotten, Meg was nothing.

No...you see, that's the point. You all don't allow them to critisize. When they say "I feel insulted", you all say "Hahaha, you suck, learn how to take a joke." I havn't seen anything to tell me otherwise. That's the only reason why this problem came up in the first place. You all are simply too mean to each other, all of you. You don't know how to respect one another.

Oh, and I doubt Shane has feelings. :D

I really don't think kamek's comic is to blame for all of the bickering that's taken place here recently. The comics are basically harmless, people are just taking them way too seriously.
Anyway, I was just wondering: why do so many people feel that making fun of wariovswario is all fine and dandy? There was as much "negative bashing" (although I don't believe a positive bashing exists) in that comic as the others, as far as I could see. Why is it perfectly okay to make fun of someone as long as that person is commonly disliked?

BTW - by no means am I anti-bashing, I just don't see why everyone seems to agree that the wariovswario comic was the least 'harmful'.

Oh, I completely agree. Kamek's comics are definately not to blame. This has been a long time NC Forum issue. It's just that Kamek's comic has sort of sparked up a lot of those issues. The main problem can be summed up in...

1) Lots of people posting their personal comics.
2) Lots of people being insensitive to other people when they post their comic.

There's also that longtime "Vet vs Newbie" issue that always seems to go around.

I like Kamek's comic, but I agree that the "stop insulting me" is a form of criticism. While I think they should calm down a little, it's still criticism.

The last time I've gotten involved in the NC Forum was when there was that NC Grand Prix topic. Now that was a fun topic (but the server crashed before the race was finished so there was no winner, though I had a fast car :D ). I wish there could be another one of those topics.

My bashing is the expression of my opinions. If I read a comic that sucks, I will say so. Of course, it sounds harsh because I try to use fancy vocabulary to enunciate my opinion. I don't discriminate either. The oldest vet and the newbie of the century are both susceptible to my criticism, as is everyone inbetween. I'd even bash Jay if I ever had cause to.

Did Kamek (Or anyone) actually made a topick about me??? Hey just call me dux (Lowercase d).

Hey, I think I got it! Everything traces back to the worst two moments of my life as a VGF user. First, that comic I made about bashing Lemon. Later, my "Bash me." at Kamek's topick. I suggest we leave that all behind and start all over with me.

As a side note: If Lemon (as an example) changes his PDN to 'Mindless Vegetable', why does he make veryone still call him 'Lemon'? It's pointless. Well at least for me. Call me dux.

Jay, they do need to learn how to take jokes and stuff. I could go to Lupus or Nappy, or LVK, and say 'dude, you blow chodes,' and they'd probably laugh it off. Same thing would happen if someone said that to me.

Everyone needs to know the limit between jokes and bashing.

Frankly, I hate the bashing, it always seems to come up without me having popcorn.
OK, seriousness now. I think it's because people are typically mean and uncaring, as well as lazy and greedy (the last two are unimportant, but more true than the first two). Oddly enough, we hate specific things about others, and then do those specific things ourselves without noticing it. I've yet to meet anyone that doesn't do that. It's all human nature.

That's true, but you need to learn to listen and be respectful. If a person is really bothered about being insulted, the mature thing to do is to listen to them and if they are really annoyed, to stop insulting them all together. It's really simple. I know that you mean it in all good fun, but if both sides arn't having fun, then it isn't a joke anymore. It's simply a pure, mean, insult. So if someone doesn't want to be insulted, just don't do it to them anymore. It's not worth it. You just end up with messes like we had. Joke around with someone who can actually take a joke. If someone doesn't want to be cool and be involved in your comic, it's their problem.-jay

Actually, don't. We're better off without someone starting a flame war, and critisizm is usually the first reason a flame war is started. Plus, it's insulting. You probably felt bad when people said bad things about you and your comix, right? Well, the same rule applies to everyone else. Remember, "Treat your fellow man as you would want them to treat you," or, "What goes around, comes around."
