Haha, he's like 10. Your parents have good reason not to let you play it.

No one the age of 10 (or 12 for that matter) should be playing GTA3 regardless of how mature they are.

So it really should how you act, not your age. But like I said, sometimes age determines that and sometimes it doesn't.
Exactly, and this guy has already proven he's an immature asshat.

Since you are in the custody of your parents, you really don't have a choice in the matter. Although you could always get someone older (a friend's brother etc.) to get it for you although your parents might not be to happy about that. ;)

I personally believe that age really shouldn't matter (at least in this case). It depends on the maturity of the person and their past behaviors that should prove whether or not they should be allowed to play a game such as GTA 3 or VC.

I fail to see the difference between watching and actually playing GTA.

For how long will you ban your kid from playing a game like GTA?

It's your decision but say your child has been responsible and mature. If he's around 12 or 13 then I believe that there's a not a problem in playing it. By the time a kid is 12 he should at least know about the dangers of sex and if you talk to him about it then there won't be a problem.

Now if the kid is much younger then there's no way he should be allowed to even watch (although how that's any different from actually playing I don't know) a game like GTA 3 or VC.

My kids can't play Grand Theft Auto until they're, like, fifty.
