Exactly, and this guy has already proven he's an immature asshat.Originally posted by dux teh 2nd:
^ That shouldn't matter. It should matter how mature you are. Sometimes age determines that and sometimes it doesn't. I am 12, and my parents let me play games like Grand Theft Auto, Resident Evil, and Halo. Of course they won't let me play anything with nudity or sex in it. So it really should how you act, not your age. But like I said, sometimes age determines that and sometimes it doesn't.

Since you are in the custody of your parents, you really don't have a choice in the matter. Although you could always get someone older (a friend's brother etc.) to get it for you although your parents might not be to happy about that.
I personally believe that age really shouldn't matter (at least in this case). It depends on the maturity of the person and their past behaviors that should prove whether or not they should be allowed to play a game such as GTA 3 or VC.

For how long will you ban your kid from playing a game like GTA?
It's your decision but say your child has been responsible and mature. If he's around 12 or 13 then I believe that there's a not a problem in playing it. By the time a kid is 12 he should at least know about the dangers of sex and if you talk to him about it then there won't be a problem.
Now if the kid is much younger then there's no way he should be allowed to even watch (although how that's any different from actually playing I don't know) a game like GTA 3 or VC.
