I think Big-O gives me a combined feeling of confusion and boredom. I don't know what it is, though.

"BIG-O!

BIG-O BIG-O! BIG-O!!"

Stupid theme song always gets stuck in my head. >.<

I like the little bit of Big O that I have seen. I wish I was irresponsible enough to stay up late and watch it.

Maybe I'll buy when I'm rich... and I have taken over the world... and I'm married to [name deleted].

Originally Big O was a one season show. Episode 13 can be considered the REAL ending if you may. But Cartoon Network butted in and talked whoever made it into allowing a second season. But the deal is that the second season was animated and written IN America BY Americans, which is the problem.

It really isn't anything more than generic crap dished out by animation studios all across Japan, kind of like Outlaw Star, G Gundam, Space Pirate Mindy and various other shows.

The ending in Episode 26 was a cop out.

Uh, Big O season 2 was done by the people from Season One. The money came from North America and Cartoon Network though.

No it wasn't made in Japan actually, credit was given to the studio in Japan though. If I can find the site again I'll post it up.
And this matters why?
Do I really need to explain? There are two reasons, the first being that it wasn't being done by the original writers. The Second is because the writers who did the show in America lacked the ability to create something with philosophical intrigue (even though what it did have in the first season was average).
