Yeah, I thought Legato's voice matched his character perfectly.

Could have been worse. They could have chosen the same VA who does the voicing for Spike, Robert, and Tom Torso (Toonami). See? Think about it. Wouldn't have matched at all.

And I thought Vash's VA was good as well. I think he pulled off the switches from goofy-to-serious quite nicely.

Milly and Meryl? I didn't like the VA's, probably because I didn't like the characters.

Wolfwood was fine. Too high and goofy? What did you want, James Earl Jones?

The Gung-Ho Guns... Where to begin. I disliked Zazie's, because, well, the whole transition from child-voice to creepy-gunman kind of got to me. Chapel, I didn't like him or his VA. Midvalley, his voice was somewhat too annoying for me. I can't explain how. E.G. Mine (Wasn't that name a parody of some writer? E.G. Milne, or something?) had an Igor voice. An annoying change, but at least it was unique. Rai-dei, I can't recall his voice. Hoppar was creepy, but an awesome voice. Grey and Caine didn't talk... Leanov (sp?) only had like, one line, I think.

Did I really need to go through them all? Not really, but I'm bored. Bear with me here.

By far one of my favorite VA's from the series was the voice of Kaite from the BDN episodes. Such a damned cool voice. He also played the voice of Kite from the .hack// games.

Heh, I make one crack and the whole freakin' topic explodes... very interesting.

My words are like dynamite! FEAR ME!

I haven't seen Trigun yet, but I'm working on it.

I myself am a fan of dubbing over subbing. Someone once said(I don't recall who it was): "I'll take a bad sub over a bad dub, but I'll take a good dub over a good sub any day." That most definitely applies to me.

Andross: Should I take offense at the fact that you thought I would so quickly judge someone simply because that someone disagrees with me on one thing? Actually, some of my favorite people are people who disagree with me frequently.

Shouldn't the Sub vs. Dub topic be revived for this?

You, uh....forgot Dominique, Monev, the Gauntlet... several others....

I maintain the dub fit their chars as well as the original - or better, in several cases. Knives in particular was great - the friendliness in his adult voice gave his psychotic edge a particularly sharp point, a contrast to the way he acted that worked only to accent it...

Nah, I'm pretty sure it was Hoppar (Pronounced Ho-parr). Ah well.

Monev.. I know the name, but I forget which one he was... Oh, right, the huge dude. Didn't have a problem with him or Dominique.

"If I had wanted to, I could have killed you three times by now."

*Vash's coat's buttons pop off*

"If I had wanted to, I could have groped you five times by now."

*bra-shot*

"Well, maybe only four."

Dammit I love this show.

It finally came! I am now the proud owner of all twenty-six episodes of Trigun.

So far I've only watched the first three episodes, but I'm working on that.

I love Vash-- he's actually what I might be like if I were an anime hero.
