Some updates:
Creon is the eastern most continent, whose capital is Zade, the biggest city in the world. To the south of Creon, separated by a mountain range, is Jester, the mostly unknown continent that hasn’t been really explored by any writers, however it’s still there. The central continent, which also happens to be the largest by far, is Aldresil which is mainly desert and in the direct centre of it all (and, coincidentally, the centre of the planet) is the huge tower thing which I’m willing to bet was destroyed in URPGOne. Teraneil is the western most continent, which is smaller than Creon but still large compared to the tiny ones scattered around (Glaseim for example). Feransador is to the north of them all, and is considerably smaller, yet the unexplored reaches of it make it somewhat of a rumour haven.
The world is, as of yet, unnamed.
Because of this “map” I’m willing to make a stab in the dark and say Irrelium is probably in Jester, which suits it perfectly (marshland, whatnot). For Kal to meet up with the others he’d have to take a boat, or something, to reach Glaseim.
Key locations include the Purgatory Caves and Jungle village, which is just west of Zade (still on the continent of Creon), the Dragoon City, which was underground, just north of Varas (which most likely had a different name in URPG1), and the nomad village in the northeast of Aldresil, where a dungeon cave was. There was also a separate kingdom to the northwest of Zade (heck, most of the entire RPG took place in Creon considering they returned there after each slaying) that was neutral.
If we’re also thinking URPG2 as canon, then there’s the port city to the west of Zade. That’s pretty much the only new location of URPG2.
The four types of magic are Orb Magic, Learnt Magic, Inside Magic, and Earth Magic. Orb Magic is what anyone can use, but Orbs for sale are usually quite expensive so most people rarely have more than one. Learnt Magic is what people (read: mages) learn by practicing pretty much non-stop for their entire lives. Only then can they actually encompass the abilities of learning it. Inside Magic is for people who are born with it and require absolutely no energy to cast it, like Casvarians. Earth Magic is what the four gods (Zade, Apocalypse, Lyth, Titan) used. It’s world changing magic that no normal person could ever learn (I think someone from URPG2 apparently had control of it or something... in my opinion it’s a bit too powerful for anyone other than gods to possess). “Amulet Magic” is different again, however it doesn’t really go into any of the groups. It just encompasses magic that can only be cast in transformed state.
All basic spells (non-Earth I mean) can technically be under Learnt or Inside Magic. Orb Magic has a lot of spells but not them all (so while Learnt or Inside Magic has 100% of all discovered spells, for people with Orbs they would only be able to cast, say, 80% of all discovered spells). I hope that makes sense. Earth Spells, however, are in a league of their own and the only magic type that holds them is obviously, Earth Magic.
Charade, arguably the most damaging attack from the first URPG, was a Learnt/Inside spell, unbelievably. So technically normal people could get it. Its power is so immense it’s a wonder it wasn’t an Earth Spell.

Fifteen minutes of boredom and remembering details resulted in this. However, it's just my interpretation and most of the forests/mountains were thrown in there just to make it look a little more lively. Feel free to create whatever the hell you want wherever the hell you want it. I can easily remove a forest to insert whatever.
Lythien's Fort/Isledam were just inserted into Glaseim because they had no set location in the original URPG. They were just off in a remote place. (For those who don't know, Isledam was the place where the Apocalypse Drake, aka the "living" incarnation of Apocalypse, slept. That subline was never completed, however, but just assume he was revived and did something and was killed by the slayers). So technically, while Lythien's Fort and Isledam are on the map, they are irrelevant, unless you want to bring them into it all somehow.
I injected a huge lake next to Zade because I remember the Water Drake slept in a cave under the water just near it. They used a submarine to reach it, if I'm not mistaken. Plus somehow half the group got shipwrecked on "Cannibal Island" which I can't remember the details of anymore but whatever.
I am aware I've probably missed hundreds of locations from the first one (for example, the X10 or whatever factory) but that's mainly because I've completely forgotten where they were supposed to be. Plus no Forensador locations just yet... maybe Blake can help me on that one.
Any questions or requests, feel free to ask/say. And don't get intimidated by the complexity of stuff; if you write your own thing that conflicts with the original URPG none of us are likely to remember and it will go unnoticed. So just write what you like.

Pointless fact of the week:
In 1963, baseball pitcher Gaylord Perry remarked, "They'll put a man on the moon before I hit a home run." On July 20, 1969, a few hours after Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon, Gaylord Perry hit his first, and only, home run.
