^Deimos, watch it.

Might as well say that there are plenty of worse games out there. Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (GG), Tails Sky Patrol (Not saying that's a bad game, though XP), Sonic Spinball (GG)...

The game itself is pretty sweet. Although rated E 10 &Up doesn't seem that cool, but it is a lot of fun. The 2player mode kicks major butt as well. Great storyline, and well, a must buy.

I've seen the comic before, and it was pretty good. As for the video...still loading, so I guess I'll edit in my opinion later.

Ol' Lotharhex should go change his tampon more often, this game is definitly getting under-rated.

The guns themeselves add more due to the fact that the enemies still have health bars.

I'd put more down, but I'm getting really pissed by people who whine and say they'll never play another 3D Sonic game and wonder why there's not more like the "good old days". =/

Okay, so I got this game two days ago, and I have to say, I agree Luigi007. This game is seriously being underrated.

The guns, are quite helpful, sometimes even better than the usual homing attack. Vehicles, bleh, they come in handy sometimes. Plot, well thought out, and the number of endings adds up to its replay value. Only problems I have with it was camera controls and Sonic wasn't playable.

Everything else, satisfied me very well, some of the qualities gave me more than what I expected. However, if you just wanna beat the game and don't give a crap about the plot, give this a rental. If you wanna do everything and know about Shadow's past completely, must-buy.

Gamestyle Review [preview]

Just something from Lothar without the swearing and more control. The guy writes for Gamestyle, so I'm inclinbed to trust him on this. Especially considering I thought it was a dumb idea in the first place.

Seriously though, do you lot even know what 'emo' means?

A lot more respectable than IGN's review, anyway...

But still, they must've not looked at multiplayer at all, which is just plain fun. Don't get me wrong, it's not the best Sonic game they've made, but the storyline is that f-ing awesome! The camera has always sucked for the 3-D games(although Sonic R's camera was actually decent), and Charmy's voice still sucks. That's my only complaints about the game. But considering I'm used to bad camera controls, it doesn't bother me one bit.

Well at least he re-did the review and gave it a rating. I guess what really keeps me going is the plot. The guns, I see is just a fun way to show Shadow's character (although I do agree it does make the bosses easier XD). Although they didn't add in these things I didn't like about it as I played the game even more:

-Repetitiveness: Only a minor thing to me, since I'm trying to get all rank A's as well, but seeing westopolis over and over again really gets boring.

-Lack of Playable Characters: This is probably the number one problem I have with this game. Sonic's main strength was always the variety of characters. Hell, in multiplayer all they have is Shadow and copies of himself.

-Graphics: again, only a minor thing, but it would really be nice if they didn't look like kids. at least in SA2 they looked like they were teens.

If everyone still thinks this game is horrible, at least don't say it was worse than Sonic Heroes...

Whoh whoh whoh, now hold on. Sonic Heroes was a lot better than Sonic Adventure. Hell, it was nearly up there with SA2 with me. So if I say it's worse, than it's only saying that it ranks around third best.

And the bosses aren't always easy. Take the Pure Evil path and see what I mean (Dark Ending. GOD, that boss is near immortal.)

Untrue, I direct your attention to Donkey Kong Universe. Donkey Konga sucked, Donkey Konga 2 sucks. Donkey Konga 3 was decent, but probably isn't coming out here, since DKa and DKa2 sold so abysmally. Come to think of it, between Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and the Kongas, there hasn't been a good Donkey Kong game (except DK: King of Swing and the GBA ports) since Donkey Kong 64. By comparison, Sonic fans have it good.

Aside, the game is pretty decent, they repaired his character, which was really annoying. Specifically, he's less angsty.

If Sonic Rush is any indication, however, I think SEGA may be back on the right track. Sonic Riders seems like it might be fun, too.

Okay, I just got this game.

So far, it's pretty fun and has a good plot. Some of the stages and bosses are pretty fun.

However, no game is perfect. First off, it's pretty short to get to the ending, they're like, 6 stages and maybe 1-3 bosses. (Good thing there is like, 10 endings, I've only done 3 so far) Second, it feels lonely at times. I always make the mission character *Insert Hero*, because I'll miss them later. (I usually do another mission though.) Third, the voices suck at times. Listening to Vector will make you want to cut off your ears. Finnally, the vehicles suck(I hate that stupid frog jumping thing) and there needs to be more scenes like the opening one.

Yeah. It's still a good game. ;)

EDIT: I hate my older posts in this topic alot.

People who consider anything that has Sonic's mug on it an instant winner for Game of the Year no matter how unplayable the game may actually be aren't any better.

The only people who liked Donkey Konga were drummers who couldn't bring their sets into the dorm (according to CaptHayfever at least), people who are amused by the shine of hardened mud, and people who eat everything Nintendo shells out like it was God's will.

Bringing up the Donkey Konga arguement on a Shadow the Hedgehog topic? BAH, nonsense.

Besides, my bongos are collecting dust underneath a bunch of clothes currently. Heck, I haven't played my GC for a while. Too busy with my DS and Advance Wars 2.

Someone explain to me, though, how DK: King of Swing is.

Otherwise, this is a Shadow the Hedgehog topic, fools.

Another comment about StH: The songs.

IMO... they suck. Seriosly. The Dark story song drove me crazy. The only good one I've heard... is the opening. I hope the music improves in the final songs...

The music didn't improve. :(

And I don't like the ending. Sure, it answers everything... but seriosly, I found out most of Sonic's past in my first ending.

Oh yeah... where did Omega go?

Sonic the Hedgehog + Pistol = retarded. There is no middle ground. I'm I'm going to trust in the professional reviews I read, which said the game sucked sweaty balls like a molasian hooker on a bender.
