Seeing Shadow just float midair while firing a gun looked bad. And he can also change direction while STILL floating mid air.

I apologize. Whether I misunderstood you or not, it still was'nt right of me to make that outburst.
I am just angry. I have stuck with sonic since I was 4, and Sonic the Hedgehog came out on Genesis, I use to have every single comic that came out, and watched the shows religiously. I remember opening my Dreamcast and Sonic Adventure on Christmas, and in the blink of an eye, one of my favorite video game franchises decides to go and screw everything up by incorperating things that should stay far away from the Sonic world. Maybe I am old school, but I miss the days when the heroes fought back using only the skills they were born with, not super gloves, fighter mechs,ring dashing shoes or handguns. It just made them seem special.

I suddenly do not think a gun will be a good idea. Maybe you should be able to equip items.

My idea involved Shadow having done his job, and well..... Pow!

But this isn't innovation...this is PURE, UNADULTARATED,GENERIC STUPIDITY!

This BETTER be a prank...sure, they've got screenshots, they had screenshots of Sonic in SSB:M too. They have trailers? Gotten from other sites. Other sites? Got them form the stupid sites who thought one day, "Hey, let's trick everyone into thinking Shadow gonna use a GUN!".

I'm not saying that's definitely what happened, I'm just saying I HOPE that's what happened, because mixing Sonic (or Shadow,or any other Sonic character) with guns is a DEFINITE turn-off for...let's see...98% of the Sonic Gamer population? Yeah, that's about right.

i don't really mind one way or the other. they could be trying to aim for somethin' new and with huge games such as like grand theft auto and halo and games like that all involvin' guns, i guess they thought this might lure gun lovers in or something. i dunno.

i don't hate sonic team now or anything, but i do wish they would do somethin else. personally i never liked guns and i have a problem with even tails usin' them like he did in sonic battle.

and i'm glad they made a shadow game. a lot of ppl i know like shadow so they'd be thrilled to hear this.

Okay, get this theory, lead-heads. Shadow is a genetically engineered project, and thusly, needs to be given all his abilities while in the test tube. Has it ever occurred to any of you that maybe Shadow is incomplete during the game, and that a gun is all he has to protect himself at this point?

He hasn't learned to harness Chaos Control or his Speed Dash properly?

And get a grip, people. If I remember correctly, Robotnik (I refuse to call him Eggman) was holding a gun to Amy Rose's head in Sonic Adventure 2, and you people worship that pile of crap like it's Jesus's second coming.

We worship what? Sonic Adventure 2 or Eggman? Anyway, Eggman is different cause hes the bad guy, so its not a big deal to people to see him with a gun. (and plus the gun looks a bit cartoony) But it shocks people to see a Sonic character carry a gun (and the gun looks a bit realistic judging from the pics and it shoots bullets, not lasers), just imagine if it was Sonic who was carrying a gun, would you be shocked too?

But I don't think a gun suits Shadow, cause I don't think he needs it. And plus the size of the gun is too freaking big for him, the beginninng of the trailer it looks like hes having trouble walking with that thing.

i think shadow's one of those characters who's not good all the time like sonic is, but once and awhile he'll pop up to help the others.
