Well, they were gonna end it with X5, but they didn't...
And Zero can't be in any more X games, because of RockmanZero. For RockmanZero to happen, the X6 ending where Zero goes in that capsule for 100 years has to be used, therefore... No more Zero, and because everyone is so fond of Zero, probably no more X games...
RockmanZero is kinda a continuation of the X games. Well... I don't know if X is in RZ, but I know his clone, Omega X, is. He helps Zero and whutnot... and he has shoes! Lemme find a picture of him...

I'm acually looking foward to the MMX7 in 3D.Why?Because Capcom alrady has experience in making 3d games such as the Legends series and it's going to be for the PS2,so the graphics has to be good.If you want to see a pic. of MMX7 just click here MegaMan X7 Pic.

Yeah, I was watching that Extended Play show last weekend, and they showed X7! Only for a nanosecond, but I was all like, "It's the bunnums!!!"
But... yeah, these pictures prove it... I think X7 is a remake of X1! You got that one creature in the first picture, and then the highway stage in the next two... can't really tell where Zero is, but.... X1 is my favorite game, Capcom had BETTER not mess it up!
...but why should I care? I dun have a PS2, so...
