Thank You...

Dear VGF posters and friends,

My family and I received the lovely memorial that you have sent. We would like, from the absolute bottom of our hearts, to thank you for your truly touching gesture. It sits at the very entrance of Philip's room and literally brings tears to my eyes every time I set my sights on it. The last five years of Philip's life were very difficult. He missed out on a lot of opportunities and experiences that kids his age take for granted. However, I am aware that the friendships and bonds he shared with friends online were very special, and actions like yours show exactly just how special they were. My words alone cannot completely convey my feelings of gratitude and love for your sympathy, but please know that we are truly and forever grateful that such wonderful people as yourselves were a part of Philip's life. Thank you.

With true emotion,
Paul

PS: I am in the midst of posting photos of Philip onto a photo sharing webpage...I will post it when it is complete.

I tend to stay away from this site because it makes me a little emotional, but if there is anything you would like to share, my email address is [email protected].

Goodnight and be well.

Wow. I used to be pretty frequent on VGF a few years back and I just thought I'd stop by to see how things are going and I'm hit with this. I can't really believe this and I'm really sad to see him go. Rest in peace Philip.

I know my tenure as back here has been a while, but I finally decided to post something here.

Knux had a big impact on my time at VGF. I don't think I ever got to know him well (I really wasn't that active or "into" this forum a lot in my earlier years here), but coming back to this (this happened during my approx. 6 month break) is a shock. It warms me to know he is probably reading these forums from a better place and one day we will all be with him.

Oh...wow...I just got back to the forums after a year or so absence, maybe more, only to find this topic.

I spoke to Knux on AIM sometimes too, and I remember him being a very frequent member here. He was a cool guy, very cool guy.
In fact I remember he wanted to take a tour of Africa since he loved animals so much, because the hospital would give him a free wish or something along those lines. I also remember his favorite animal was the giraffe cause that was mine as well, heh.
May he rest in peace..

Okay, I feel the need to post here.

I hardly knew this guy, I've only been here for a little while. However, I can remember way back when, when a member named Viceroy Nute Gunray would make posts in certain threads. I didn't think very much of him, until recently when I realized he's gone. I don't know him very well, and I guess there isn't much I can say about him, other than, from what I've heard from other members, he was an incredible member, and I'm truly sorry that he passed away while I was blissfully noobing around VGF. If I had actually been here a bit longer, then maybe his passing would have had a much larger impact on me. This probably doesn't mean much coming from me, but it really sucks that we'd lose a member like Knux. Rest in peace.

Though I did not know him well, I'm still tearing up... death is such a sad thing.

Rest in Peace.

After a lot of time, and a lot of thought...

I have only this to say about that:

Viceroy Nute Gunray
Knux
Phil.

You will be missed.

You leave us a friend, close and dear.

We shall leave your mood indicator on 'horny', where YOU set it.

Now go get those bitches on that corner in the afterlife a decent dicking, hm?

May you find a lightsaber, wherever you are.

I raise to you my Safari Ball and Blissey.

Your friend,
Nicole Michelle Smythe.
