I've read about the Tails Doll. I want to play Sonic R now. Too bad I don't own Gems, the original, or the PC version.

Ugh..freaky. It's a scary thing to read, but I know it's not true. I believe in ghosts, but not curses. Especially about a video game.

I used to enjoy the PC version. I always got supersonic before I got any of the bonus characters so maybe that is the only way to negate the curse of the tails doll.
