To an extent. We all know Amy has the hots for Sonic, but the writers make it as if she's obsessive about it. The main (not only, but main) reason that Amy was in Sonic Heroes was to hunt down Sonic.

It's not humorous when Amy is a psychopath stalker who would hunt down Sonic during the most weirdest moments. It's just gets stupid after that.

And as for the Heroes Ending in Sonic Riders: That's just one of those rare times, where Sonic just plain deserved it.

It could be just me, but people seem like they don't like her just because she seems annoying.

I don't hate her. In fact she's number 5 out of my top 5 favorite Sonic Characters, but my favorite form of her was in SA2, where she wasn't a psychopath stalker, but still added humor.
