All in all this fourm could use a good boost, so I though why not rate sonic games, it could help. So I made this thread for that sole purpose!

Deku, if you don't shut up right now, you're being reported for the mods to decide to be banned or not. Got it?

I'll do a quick review on Shadow The Hedgehog ( I suck at these, I swear.)

Graphics 7/10,
The gameplay graphics suck to put it simple (we are no longer in the year of the dreamcast Sonic Team!) The cinematics however are some of the best I've seen on a game.

Gameplay 7/10
Once again as this IS a sonic game you'd expect all out speed, but Sonic Team killed ALOT of the speed, you can RUN faster than most of the vehicals. The guns however introduce a new style of play, which is kinda fun. (Shoot and run, anyone?)

Sound (Insert whatever here, I'd be baised)

Overall 7.8/10
A decent game, but you need ALOT of paience to get to the final storyline, trust me.

Ill review stupid sonic hero's.
Graphics: 5/10
Terrible. Since this is a old game, ill give them some credit, but come on! They can do better then that!

Gamplay: 6/10
Well, the gameplays alright, but it gets annoying that you have to finish the game over and over again, the only differences is that you play as different chars, and they have a slightly different changes.

Overall: 6/10
Good: Rad music.
Bad: Bad graphics, gamplay gets dull.

I'll do Sonic Adventure 2: Battle.

Graphics: 8/10. They were pretty good, but could be better.

Gameplay: 9/10. It was a lot of fun and you played multiple people, plus you got to do evil people as well. However, you only got to play Tails in the Tornado...

Music: 10/10. I loved the music.

Overall: 9/10. very, very good game.
I believe in second chances, and that's why I believe in you.

Sonic Riders:

Gameplay: 6/10
Sonic Riders' learning curve is a bit high. I must say during story mode, I got to the 6th stage and I still haven't completely learned everything. Keep in mind that I failed each of the stage over 2 times except for the 1st stage, with the 6th stage being the most (5-10 times). For a game that heavily supports party gameplay, you can't just invite friends over and beat them. You'll have to invite them over, teach them, and then beat them.
The level up system in this game was okay, and actually pretty good, what makes this part of the game sucks is how attacks are pulled out. Sonic's level 2 attack makes you go into a spin dash to hit the enemy, but you would hit the enemy and it would propel them forward and then to a stop, but Sonic's level 1 made them completely stop, why is that? Same goes for everyone else, except for Tails, which attacks are blantantly too much in his favor. His level 1 attack actually stuns you for a good 5 seconds before you can move again, and his level 2 is actually an AoE! (Area of Effect). What makes this even worse is that, you can be level 3 with 100 rings, and some enemy could use a level 1 attack on you, and you will lose all of your rings, thus putting you back to level 1. To me, that's highly weird.
This isn't to say that the gameplay is horrible, it's actually pretty fun once you get used to everything, but this is mainly a party game, and if you can get easily frustrated from getting hit, or not a quick learner, then you won't be having fun for awhile.
Also, SEGA put way too much emphasis on Turbulence. You can't control your character worth a crap while in there. It's like if the computer is saying 'Hey, I'll let you pass in front of me as long as you act like a dog on a leash and stay in my turbulence'.

Graphics: 10/10
After the kiddish graphics from Sonic Heroes, and the slap-on dreamcast graphics from Shadow the Hedgehog, SEGA finally gets this right, (in my opinion of course), and makes graphics that looks like SA2, but updated. Sonic and the others looks well detailed, and I absolutely love how tall they look, despite the fact they're like 3.3ft. They even added an alternative dimension in one stage and brings more beauty to the graphics by making everyone extra shiny, and it actually LOOKS good. I can easily see this when playing as Shadow or Knuckles.

Sounds: 8/10
Eh... what can I say? None of the music makes my ears bleed, and they fit well with their stages. Oh, here's one thing I can say, the tracks are limited. Metal City, and it's counterpart, Night Chase, has the same exact track music, when they could easily make a remix of it much like from the times back in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 or Sonic 3D Blast.
As far as voices go... Sonic has horrid enthusiasm in his voice when he tries to get serious. Listen to his voice in the starting CS in the Heroes story. He says "Alright! Now we're talkin'!" and it made me think 'wait... say that again?' when I first heard it. This is one of many examples. Everyone else, for the most part, is okay. Even Jet's horrid squeaky voice is okay, since he's new. Shadow, however, sounds way too quiet, I litterally had to turn up the volume in order to hear him, despite the fact that he's voiced by the same VA as Sonic AND Jet.

Last Thoughts:
Sonic Riders is enjoyable, yes. But it's enjoyable if you're a tolerant person and doesn't mind taking awhile to learn the game mechanics. The sounds is good, despite Sonic's horrid voice, but the real picker-upper is the graphics, probably the best thing in the game, although, that doesn't make up for the most important thing, GAMEPLAY.

Overall: 6/10. If you can't perfect gameplay, then nothing else really matters.
