Random video game trivia
I recently found out Earthworm Jim was a secret character in Battle Arena Toshinden, but only the PC port. I thought that was really neat as an Earthworm Jim fan (BAT is cool too).
I figured we could just drop obscure tidbits we know or learn here, so here's a thread for that.

The rarest item in Minecraft is the Dragon Egg (and I once lost it in one of the games in the ocean...arrrgh).
She lives in the clouds and talks to the birds...

I am given to understand that Miyamoto's initial idea for 'Donkey Kong' was going to be a Popeye game, but Nintendo wasn't able to secure the rights to the Popeye characters at that time, so they changed things a little whilst still retaining the basic conceit (love triangley deal between big guy, little guy and maiden fair; big guy kidnaps girl, little guy has to save her, little guy gains brief power-boost with single-use item, etc).

In 1993, Tetris (GB) was the first-ever game played in space.

Re: Random video game trivia
So here's some weird 'Super Mario 64' trivia.
The Boo laugh is actually the same as the Bowser laugh, just sped up. They're both different iterations of a laugh taken from a sound effects disc, and, coincidentally, the person who did that particular laugh was none other than Charles Martinet, years before he landed the Mario gig.

I just found out Super Mario Land has an Expert Mode you unlock after beating the game once. I'm gonna give that a shot.

In Yakuza 6, Toru Hirose was modeled after and voice acted by Takeshi Kitano, the same guy behind the infamous Takeshi's Challenge.
