Watched Stranger Things for the first time. It had me hooked on episode 1, actually. I loved watching every minute of it, and now I'm excited for the next season to come out.

I've been watching lot of Buzzcocks lately. Great show. Shame I know so damn little about pop music.

I've been watching DireBoar streaming a game called My Summer Car. Really looks like a fun game despite the seemingly dumb concept of just working and building a car to win a rally. I kinda want it haha.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I really like this movie, but on each subsequent viewing, Mary Elizabeth gets more & more annoying, & she's in about 25% of the movie. Like, she's supposed to be annoying to the characters, but she's also annoying to the viewer.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Been rewatching 'Adventure Time'.

"Simon and Marcy" kills me every time I see it, man.

Flipped on Peppa Pig last night with the little one. Never seen it before, but I heard kids like it. She seemed to like it alright, but they sounded a lot like Salad Fingers to me, which was a bit unnerving.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F: Future Trunks Special Edition

I technically only watched the new scenes added for the movie, but it's pretty great. It never gets old seeing Goku's first Super Saiyan transformation, and new animation accompanying it makes it even better.

Anyway, I watched it because I read about the upcoming new story arc for Dragon Ball Super. Yamcha, Hit, Champa, and Arale return rather prominently, with Arale and Yamcha getting their very own episodes. Seems like "filler" technically but of the highest quality, and really, the filler is the best part of Dragon Ball now.

^^Just wait until you start watching them baby shows when she isn't around. Boy, that's a sad day------------realising you enjoy 'Doc McStuffins' on its own merits, and not merely because anything looks good compared to 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse' and 'Max and Ruby'. Suppose I should have seen it coming after I got into the pony show.

Watched the new SU-------'Gem Harvest'. Steven meets his previously-absent cousin-once-removed Andy, who is voiced by Carl from ATHF.

I like these half-hour eps. Don't have to rush through things quite as much.

New 'Half in the Bag' is out. Feel free to watch it, if you're keen on dying of laughter.

^You should check out the new one, too. At least the first half. Mike and Jay absolutely obliterate 'Shut-In', then take a wild swing at modern horror movies just in general, and finish by making up their own stupid horror movie plot on the spot. I spit-taked twice. It's glorious.

Detective Conan movies 10 and 12.

10 - Has Kaitou Kid in it, so. Also rad skateboard chase scenes. Lots of bad gratuitous CG. Overall it was the prime Conan movie experience.

12 - this was actually the first Detective Conan thing I ever watched. I was at a friend's house and he was like "hope you don't mind but I'm gonna put on the latest Conan movie" and I was like idk what that is but ok. Then I saw it and was like EXPLOSIONS AND MURDER MYSTERIES WTF THIS IS INCREDIBLE and then I watched the whole series from the beginning. Putting aside the fact that DIAL TONES... DO NOT WORK THAT WAY........... I still love this movie. Music and explosions. I can get behind this.

Trunks's introductory episode in DBZ.

I. I love Trunks. I love Trunks so much. I don't even care that when he was introduced he was the most OC to ever OC -- "HE'S A SUPER SAIYAN EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE ONLY 2 OF THOSE LEFT AND ALSO HE BEAT FRIEZA IN ONE TRY AND ALSO HE HAS A SWORD" -- his intro sparked the start of when DBZ started to get Real **** Good. Also, just. That bowl cut. That fashion. It's all so good. Best husband. 10000/10.

From around the time Trunks was introduced until around when he left was the best of DBZ.

...Also, writing this makes me realize that, at least so far, the best of Super started with Trunks...coincidence???

Dragon Ball Super Episode 68: Rant Edition

So, apparently even though Goku can survive bullets, lasers, bombs, blades, and ki blasts that are strong enough to destroy planets...

Image

...he probably can't survive in the core of the Earth, as heavily implied by the episode, but no specific reason is given. I had to think about it a bit. One's initial assumption may be that it would be due to the heat. However, Kid Goku survived a flamethrower (one of the hottest flames we can produce according to Wikipedia is 9,010 degrees and the center of the Earth is around 9,000) with very little damage. I realize that even if the heat is arguably comparable, there's almost certainly other factors to consider, like the fact that the heat would be more evenly distributed there and over a longer period of time, along with gravitational differences, among probably many other things I'm not considering in my over-thought yet half-baked analysis.

Still, that would make no sense power scaling so I came up with another more consistent explanation. Gases. One of the few things that are (more) consistently portrayed in the series as not being scaled based on Power Levels are certain normal biological conditions like the average person. Viruses and poisons can kill pretty much any mortal in the series easily, so gases would definitely affect Goku. Xenon alone would knock him out, and there's probably other gases. Also to consider is he would experience oxygen toxicity and nitrogen narcosis like divers, which can supposedly be fatal from what I read.

TL;DR: The reason Goku probably can't survive in the core of the earth is due to reasons beyond heat, which is consistent with the series. Dragon Ball Super sucks for power scalers.

^ I sincerely find it hard to believe that you typed that in earnest. That you felt the need to argue the fact that Goku couldn't survive in the core of the planet. I'm actually very impressed, well done.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yo so I watched the first episode of the Pokémon Sun/Moon anime. I don't really like the Pokémon anime because I think it needs to let go of Ash and gen 1 in general like the Adventures manga did, so I didn't have high expectations.
I was wrong. This episode was so good. I loved it. Rowlet is adorable. Team Rocket is incredible. I'm upset because now I'm invested but I'm afraid and convinced the quality is gonna drop really rapidly.
^^ Well, the pressure at the center of the Earth is about 360 gigapascals, or 3.6 million times the atmospheric pressure at sea level. The highest gravity level any of the Z fighters have trained under (Vegeta during the Buu saga) is 450 times Earth's gravity. So the pressure at the center of the Earth should be thousands of times what would be necessary to crush Goku to death.
I'm kind of disappointed in myself that I actually took the time to look this up. I'm gonna go sit in the corner.
Watched a few episodes of Space Dandy the other day. Really fun anime as far as I can tell.
Otherwise I checked out a short horror film some British kids made on their take on Bunnyman Bridge - a haunted legend thing in Virginia. I didn't really like it that much, though, and stopped watching after a few minutes.
Watched Zootopia.
Extremely upset that no one told me it was a detective movie. I'd have watched it months ago if I had known
