I think most filmmakers who try to adapt video games forget that movies need much more to be good than to be faithful to the source material. They should be accessible to anyone, not just fans of the games. Main reason I think 'Mortal Kombat' is one of the best vg-to-movie adaptations.

Oh, snap, forgot that I binged a bunch of SU with the friend after we watched Coraline. Probably about 10 episodes, since I was behind. Really liked the continuity follow-up after the first episode with Stevonnie in one of the recent ones (with - *narrows eyes* - Kevin).
Absolutely LOVED Mr. Greg. Probably one of my favorite episodes so far.

T-Force.
It is like a bunch of good 90's movies (Terminator, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, ect) got blended together with an ear of corn, a huge wedge of cheese, a low budget, and a pile of ****. I'm sure nobody here has seen it and I don't necessarily recommended searching it out, but if it happens to be on...it's interesting. Take a look I guess.

I watched like 8 episodes of Mob Psycho 100, and I really liked it. I didn't realize until later that the source manga was drawn by One (original author of One Punch Man, as in the **** version) so I checked out the manga.
42 chapters later...... I gotta say, I'm really impressed by the animation of the anime and I love how it manages to reconcile being really high-quality and cool looking but also looking stupid and **** the way the manga does. I also loved the girls' school episode they added into the anime, thought that was adorable and hilarious. But overall I think the manga's storytelling is better; they skip over a lot of stuff in the anime rather than letting it develop so it doesn't come together in the same satisfying way, and some very important pieces of dialogue are shortened or cut. A lot of minor characters aren't as three-dimensionalized. I'd say purely visually/stylistically it's a 9/10 adaptation, but including storytelling and pacing more of a 7/10. Still quite good, but some things are lost in translation because of how differently the show is directed.

Came home from work this morning just, like, on fire to watch 'Return of the Jedi', for no real reason. I like Ewoks, I like AT-STs, I like speeder bikes. Sue me.
That Vader unmasking scene kills me every time, man. So good. And Yub Nub comes up almost immediately after! Perfect end to the saga. I'm so glad Lucasfilm didn't poop out any prequel films or anything afterward. What a bewildering miscue that would have been.

Episode 11 of Mob Psycho 100 literally **** killed me. I KNEW they were gonna end the episode on that **** cliffhanger i KNEW IT and it was JUST as bad as I thought it would be.
Also they added a really sweet (as in nice, not as in radical) character development flashback that doesn't come until like 80 chapters later in the manga, but it... it was really powerful, how the anime placed it. I have so many **** emotions. Mob and Reigen's relationship is so good and I am sUCH a sucker for really strong adoptive-parental relationship types. ALSO?? DAT ANIMATION????? HOLY **** ****????????????
ill just be rolling aroudn on the floor now,

Dragon Ball Super Episode 59
DBS is pretty good about creating mysteries. I'm wondering how Future Zamasu still exists despite what Beerus stated about how time is affected by gods. I think it has to do with immortality but I guess within a few episodes that should be answered. Seems like Black's identity will be fully unveiled next time so that will be good, also the fight scenes from the preview look great.
Good episode here and it ties into what should be a great one.

I watched the third season premiere of Star Wars Rebels. I really encourage anyone who enjoys Star Wars to give this show a watch if you haven't already. I kind of initially dismissed it because of the art style, but it's really grown on me and there's definitely some complex storytelling going on.
The premiere itself was good. I was afraid there would be some cheap, kid-friendly cop-outs for some of the things that happened last season. Luckily, the season looks like it'll be going in a darker direction. Only real complaint I have is that I don't like Sabine's hair this season.

Just watched RWBY recently. I hate to say it, but the first two seasons are absolute garbage. The third season was a massive improvement, but by then it feels way too late and that they should have just redone the first two seasons. Didn't manage to really like any of the characters, there was absolutely no cinematography for the first two seasons, and there is absolutely worthless filler for a majority of the first two seasons, too.

Power Rangers Zeo episode 28: "A Small Problem"
Zeo does a pretty good job of mixing up the plots, even though Cog fights are pretty dull compared to Putties & Tengas. The red herrings for the Gold Rangers identity make no sense, though; he sounds nothing at all like Billy or Skull, & everyone clearly saw Pyramidas descend from space.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Mob Psycho 100 episode 12.
The perfect climax. Ending such an intense build-up on this note is exactly what it needed; this anime/manga series is my hands-down favorite subversion of the shounen genre ever.
Like, I knew what to expect because I read the manga, but I loved seeing it again, animated brilliantly and told a different way.
Having the resident adult tell the emotionally unstable 13-year-old protag who doesn't want to fight and who hates hurting people but is ~THE ONLY ONE WITH THE POWER TO SAVE EVERYONE~ that it's ok to run away at the end of ep11 was incredible. Telling him that he can leave it to the adults, and that using his powers would only ruin him emotionally. That there's no reason he should be forced to shoulder this burden. One of the best parts in the series. Reigen is such a good character. ;__;
And then Mob letting Reigen take control of his powers, letting him take care of everything.... "Leave It To Master." I loved it. I love this series.
Although, I think the "REIGEN 1000%" as a gag panel in the manga was better than taking it ~super seriously~ like the anime did. The manga nailed that space of very-intense-but-also-hilarious, but the anime just kept the serious tone.
literally this series is DBZ if Gohan were the main character and treated exactly how I wish he was
