It's really just the trailer and that one scene where that alien prison guard takes Chris Pratt's cassette player. I think. I've only seen that movie twice but I don't recall it blasting full force anymore for longer than half a minute.

Ooga-chaka is essential to the main storyline of Ghosts of the Goblins. It's linked thematically, as a metaphor that connects all the major players of the MCU. Because, when you think about it, there are no heroes or villains, just men and women hooked on a feeling. It'll all come full circle when Thanos uses the Infinite Glove to start singing the song to Death.

On a side note, GotG is the only MCU film I've seen in theaters. I think I go like once a year.
Captain America: The First Avenger felt amazing the first half and then the second half is just "quick montage of war stuff and then Cap gets frozen in the ice"

I actually had fun with Iron Man 2. I wasn't a fan of 3. It's okay. But I don't like it anywhere near as the first two.
i've probably seen iron man 2 five times and i still couldn't tell you much about what happens, it's so forgettable. i know mickey rourke's in it. and it's the debut of black widow. tony also gets drunk at a party with the iron man suit i think?

and yeah hooked on a feeling is barely in guardianas at all
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

I mean, of course it's a subjective thing. Like why wouldn't your average monster from hell prefer the disgusting Blue Swede cover to the original high-energy sitar hero BJ Thomas song.

Pretty sure it's just once or twice?

I think the trailer had it so that's why it's everywhere.

...incidentally, should I see 'Deadpool'?

I mean, I don't care about the character. I don't follow the comics. I can barely stand to play MVC3, because Deadpool's an obnoxious asshead in it. But the movie is apparently really good.

...I feel like I'm easy to please (never mind any post I've ever made about Star Wars). Is 'Deadpool' worth my time?

I'm not sure you'd dig if you think Deadpool is an obnoxious asshead. He's a pretty obnoxious asshead in the movie too.

If you don't like the character, you probably won't like the movie very much; the writers & Reynolds portray Deadpool very faithfully, & he's in almost every scene.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

He's pretty likeable onscreen and the humor is really pitch perfect IMO, as long as you don't mind it being crass and heads getting cut off I'd say it's worth checking out.

Don't mistake me, gang. I don't hate the character-------I mean, I disliked him in MVC3, but maybe that was just the portrayal. I've had people tell me Deadpool would be a great comic for me to read. I'm pretty open-minded. (Heck, my favourite comic series in the world stars a cartoon rabbit. One can't take the art-form too, too seriously when that is the bassline. You know?)

Welp, you can add Civil War to the necessary-for-plot & really-good lists.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

^If so, it'll make a double-layered joke, since Birdman was playing off of Keaton having been Batman in the first place.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Here's an integral piece of the puzzle known as the MCU.

^I'm calling this canon. Adding to timeline now.

Also, confirmed for not being in the MCU: The new F/X series "Legion". It's produced by Marvel for legal reason, but it's part of the X-Men film canon instead.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Agents of SHIELD season 4 began last week (adding Ghost Rider & the Patriot to the cast), & Luke Cage debuts today!
Once I watch Luke Cage, I'll adjust the timeline if necessary.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
