Just watched all of the Dead People Tournament, it was kinda boring and I just watched it to get to THE GOOD STUFF

I.E. TEENAGE GOHAN AND LIL TRUNKS AND GOTEN

.........I can't believe Gohan inherits Nimbus. I'm so glad,, like Goku isn't pure-hearted anymore bUT DAMN IT GOHAN IS ;-;

Also I find that I like Goku as a character plenty when he's dead. His complete lack of understanding of everything is endearing when it doesn't have catastrophic consequences for a child he is responsible for raising. (:

Yeah, Otherworld Tournament isn't that good, like most filler. I find that certain added scenes are great, like everyone jumping Cell and giving their little inner monologues, but when they comprise miniature sagas and entire episodes things don't go so well.

I'm just so glad that Gohan becomes a **** power ranger..... he gets to use his power on his own terms for the first time ever.......... he gets ridiculous and silly slice-of-life anime high school episodes............. this is exactly what he deserves

I'm just going to go ahead and name this part of DBZ the "Literally Everyone Is A Better Dad Than Goku Saga"

-Vegeta accidentally made Trunks cry while training aND THEN FELT REALLY BAD AND TOOK HIM TO THE AMUSEMENT PARK. He pretends he doesn't care but the instant tears are shed he goes Dad Mode. This is so good.

-Goten looks up to Gohan a LOT (the way Gohan looked up to Goku) and always follows him around,, and Gohan is SO ENCOURAGING TO HIM AND GOTEN ADMIRES HIM SO MUCH AND UGH THEY'RE SO CUTE

Now that I think about it, Goku is kind of a **** brother too. He has no problem hanging out with former mass murderers like Piccolo and Vegeta and wishing them back to life when they're killed, but what about poor Raditz? Why doesn't he get a second chance, when the worst thing he did was kidnap Gohan? Maybe the two could bond over their love for putting Gohan into dangerous situations.

Raditz is seen as lame thanks to being equal in Power Level to mere Saibamen. He was a pretty standard but decent villain.

why does this keep happening WHY IS THE CORRELATION BETWEEN GOKU BEING PRESENT AND GOHAN SUFFERING SO STRONG
