You thought you were safe from High School Musical after 3, but you were wrong.

Well, alright then.

It's a successful franchise after all.

...I'm still safe from 'High School Musical', in the sense that I haven't had to expend any effort to avoid seeing them. Pretty much a matter of not paying money to watch something I don't want to see, coupled with changing the channel if one of them starts playin on the teevee.

I figured they were done with it, although I couldn't understand why since it was such a massive success. No doubt it will be a big deal, but it's been so long I think the ship has somewhat sailed. They haven't had anything remotely close to it, but to be fair, I think the only thing, on any cable channel, to come close to it ever is The Walking Dead.
To me, you are the teacher in the Charlie Brown cartoon.

four movies

four years of high school

this adds up, please continue[DOUBLEPOST=1456905441,1456905263][/DOUBLEPOST]can we talk about high school for just a second

when did it turn out that everyone had exciting high school lives

I sure as hell didn't, I mean besides having a couple REALLY bad bouts with my depression, there really wasn't anything "risque" or "challenging" or "interesting" I was just somebody that hung with mainly three others living in a small dinky town

meanwhile all these other nerdos get musicals, movies, video games, tabletop games, everything because apparently their high school shenanigans were more newsworthy

UGH.

Why are there four of these? I don't understand why good movies don't get sequels, like Unbreakable and Walk Hard, but this trash does. I mean, I do, but still.

^^A sequel to Unbreakable would work, but Walk Hard 2: Here, Just Stare At Dewey's Grave?

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

it's probably good that more good movies don't get sequels because then there's a bigger chance of them **** it up
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

That really depends on who ends up making the sequel.

Sequels for the sake of having a sequel aren't a great idea. Successful sequels rely on the same team being ready and willing to plan and shoot a sequel.

The third movie was about them graduating.

This movie will have an all-new cast.
