Scheduled for November 25, this year.

Not sure how I feel about the cartoony dinosaurs mixed with the realistic backgrounds.

This looks like it would make a fun video game I would pay maybe 3 dollars for in a bargain bin

They should franchise it and it's spinoff game should flop so that dream can come true

Still not sure how I feel about the cartoony dinosaurs mixed with the realistic backgrounds. But I'll probably see it anyway.

I used to love dinosaurs movies as a kid. Land Before Time, We're Back, and Disney's Dinosaur were easily my favorites. I don't care about them anymore but maybe I'll watch this with my nephew.

I wasn't so sure about the cartoony looking dinosaurs at first but I'm warming up to them a lot more now. I mean it's a Pixar movie so I was gonna see it either way.

According to Pixar themselves, the backgrounds' uncartooniness is intentional. Nature itself is supposed to be one of the film's antagonists, so they wanted to contrast it with the dinosaurs by making it look realistic and hostile.

It's unusual that we got two pixar movies in one year, but I guess it has to make up for 2014... and possibly the next couple years.

Just got finished watching it. I wouldn't say I was disappointed, cause I did enjoy it, I just reeeeally wanted to like it more than I did. It was about on par with Brave, not quite up to Pixar standards but definitely not Cars 2 bad. The plot was pretty simplistic and the moral was a bit straightforward. The dinosaur finding his way home story was already done lot better 20 years ago, by The Land Before Time.

The visuals on the other hand were some of the best I've seen in any 3D animated film. There were times when I swore they just filmed a real landscape and added the characters in, which I guess may not be a good thing for some people, but it fit surprisingly well and did make the "nature is the main antagonist" thing work a lot better. I really liked the character designs as well, even if Arlo and Spot were the only two with any real development.

Overall I'd recommend it, just don't expect another Inside Out this year.

Also I think this is the first Pixar movie to have
a decapitation and a drug trip sequence.

^ Creed looks really good. Well, it doesn't but it's a Rocky film so I think it does anyway.
