In the late 1960s, the Stonewall Inn became an infamous gay hangout in New York City. It was subject to regular and brutal police raids and the patrons to harassment, and after being pushed too far, one night the patrons fought back and galvanized a community. Many of the real-life individuals involved in the movement and this incident were transgender people and people of color, typically the most marginalized members of the LGBTQ community. The issue is that, instead of focusing on the people who were there, Stonewall revolves around a fictional young, handsome white man from the Midwest

Wait, what?

Hold on.
The plot revolves around the 1969 Stonewall Riots, the violent clash that kicked off the gay rights movement in New York City. This drama centers on Danny Winters, a young gay man who flees to New York after comming out to his homophobic parents, leaving behind his sister. Danny finds his way to the Stonewall Inn, where he meets Trevor who soon becomes his lover and roommate. Danny soon catches the eye of Ed Murphy, the manager of the Stonewall. Ed colludes with corrupt policemen and exploits homeless gay youth to his own advantage.
Ok?

This seems to matter little since the movie doesn't seem to be very good either.

It's a bot that steals its posts from random news articles. Apparently it doesn't check to see if it actually stole complete sentences. >_>
