That's right, your favorite Nickelodeon shows from the 90s and 00s are getting their own channel.

^^Just the late-night "The 90s Are All That" block is 90s shows. TeeNick has original programming (& Canadian imports) too.
And quite a few of that 90s & 00s stuff holds up: Pete & Pete, Avatar, Clarissa, Doug (pre-Disney), Rugrats (pre-Kimi), Spongebob (pre-movie), Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Invader Zim, All That (seasons 1-5), Double Dare, Hidden Temple, Figure It Out, Roundhouse, Hey Arnold, Alex Mack, & the Nick Cannon Show, off the top of my head, are legit good shows.
With the nostalgia factor, several more are still watchable: Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, Nick Arcade, Kenan & Kel, Animorphs*, Space Cases, the rest of Spongebob, the rest of Rugrats, the rest of All That, Aaahh Real Monsters, The Amanda Show, Eddie McDowd, Danny Phantom, and Allen Strange, again just off the top of my head.
*Though Scholastic will probably try to keep that buried since they're developing a new adaptation now.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I've got nothing against nostalgia or people enjoying shows from their childhood or whatever but an entire channel around "real 90's kids" nostalgia seems to me like an excuse to not make good new stuff. Like, hey, we can make money off of this 20 year old stuff people still like, so we don't have to make an entire channel of good new material.
Granted people watch TV less now because you can just watch stuff on Netflix or other less legal sites, so I get what they're doing by showing the stuff that already got exposure when TV was big. It's smart, I just don't really love what it signifies.

I believe in second chances, and that's why I believe in you.
