After seeing .gifs and reposts from this show foreeeeever, we finally started watching it, and are now happy fans.
Actual depiction of Sam and Dean:

I'm a fan of Supernatural even if I haven't watched it in a few years. Got super addicted to the first... probably 6 seasons? when I was in high school. It's fallen by the wayside in my watching habits since then but the show's still dope
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

I really loved the first two seasons or so; stopped watching when it started trying to do weird overarching plot things that IMO didn't really work.
I was super into it for the kind of monster-of-the-week episodes, I thought it did those really well. Some of them were genuinely terrifying and awesome. I stopped caring when it turned into weird bible fanfiction, but I know a lot of people were into that so maybe I shouldn't judge
The episode with the little girl in the painting was nightmare material
I believe in second chances, and that's why I believe in you.

^ The long plots are a bit harder to appreciate, including the "we must find the demon who killed our mother" thing, even.
I have consistently yelled at the screen that they all just need to hug. Brood-brood-glower-glower JUST HUG ALREADY.
Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself.

the weird bible fanfiction is kinda cool but weird and also doesn't make a lot of sense and sometimes is hard to follow
but i mean it gave us castiel so all is forgiven
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

This is one of those series that I caught back when I left the TV on when I slept, but I never saw much interest in it because it was very dark for my tastes at the time.
But looking back I caught a couple of episodes and it did a good job at what it aimed for from what I saw. Realize I never caught the whole series and I skipped around a lot as a result. One episode this character is alive, the next they're dead and demons walk the earth, the next the main characters are just after Lilith. I never caught the whole thing, but I liked the episodes I saw, which counts for something.
