Set to debut in 2017.
Dentsu Entertainment USA has partnered with Man of Action Entertainment for a new Mega Man animated series, Deadline reports.

Man of Action Entertainment is in charge of creating, writing, and executing producing the animated series. Dentsu Entertainment holds the worldwide broadcast and licensing rights.

A total of 26 episodes are in the works out thus far. According to Deadline, the Mega Man TV series should debut in 2017 – just in time for the franchise’s 30th anniversary.

Well, it won't take much for it to be awful but I hope it's actually faithful to the series for once.

It'll be really cool if Capcom gets off their asses and makes a game to launch with this, is what I'm thinking.

I'm surprised I'm not surprised.

Man Of Action is working on it, and they have a pretty good track record with animated series, so there's a good chance it won't be garbage. I hope they explore some of the deeper underlying themes of the Mega Man world like the Archie comics do (but without the comic book pacing).

If it's anime it's an instant win but if it's like...y'know, his other iterations, then it's a fail.

If we get a game then that would be cool. I wanna see Mega Man VS Mighty No. 9.

I'm so down. I'm over the decades hiatus of having no cartoons based on video games. Where's my 2015 Super Mario Bros. Super Show? I NEED MY 2015 SUPER MARIO BROS. SUPER SHOW.
