I've heard there's going to be a Steven Universe/Uncle Grandpa crossover. I honestly can't think of two shows more ill-suited for a crossover with each other.

You know, I've never seen 'Uncle Grandpa'. Its commercials make it look like apex dogsh*t, but I can't say anything definite about it. I mean, SU's early advertising didn't do it any favours, either. But I don't want SU crossing over even with something I like, like AT or RS, or GF, never minding something asinine like 'Uncle Grandpa' or 'Teen Titans Go'. Because like why the hell would I ever. They're completely different shows that do completely different things.

Huh. Apparently Mayor Dewey in SU is voiced by good old Joel from MST3K. Thought I recognised the voice, but I wouldn't have known. (Jiminy. That old boy must be crowding sixty by now.)

You know, much as I enjoyed the ramp-up to the end of season one, I've really liked the last couple eps of SU. Just getting to see Steven have fun a little for the first time in ages.

South Park Season 16, Episode 3, "Faith Hilling." Certainly among the worst episodes ever created. Trash, frankly.

My fiancé and I wanted to know what the hype was all about with Steven Universe so we binge watched 43 or so episodes on Sunday. Haha. We can't stop.

Just saw the SU/UG crossover.

I didn't like it. If this is what UG is like, I could about do with never seeing another episode of it.

Yeeeeeeah. We just fell in love. It's such a beautiful cartoon, we were really surprised. I have the theme song permanently stuck in my head and that's totally okay. We...are the Crystal Gems!

Yeah, the kid I babysat for a couple weekends ago watched six or seven episode of UG because they were having some sort of awful marathon. Now, normally I like stupid cartoons. I have no problem when they're stupid. I even love Teen Titans Go for gosh sakes. But UG...UG is stupid. It's bad dumb. I never chuckled. I never laughed. I was clawing my eyeballs out by the end.

Uncle Grandpa isn't top-notch entertainment by any means but it's at least ok enough that I don't want to mutilate myself in some fashion. It's not even the dumbest show on the channel.

But then again I'm more tolerant of/accustomed to subpar cartoons than most people.

I recently finished "Binbogami ga!" AKA "Good Luck Girl".
It's really good. A girl is born with the ability to suck the luck out of others, and so she moves through life with everything going her way. Then a 'poverty god' (the 'binbogami') gets sent to correct the balance.
I laughed a lot every episode (except the for the couple of drama ones of course).

Man. The SU/UG crossover went south in like the first minute when it was explicitly stated that the ep wasn't canonical to SU proper.

I mean, SU is a show that cares so much about established continuity. So here we have an episode specifically and literally doesn't matter at all, according to the writers themselves. Well, I'm really invested now, idiots. I'm on the edge of my dang seat, here. What the hell were they thinking. It's such a bewildering miscue.

You know, I immediately disregarded UG because of the commercials when it first premiered. I gave it a chance though; I thought it was decent. I love SU, but I haven't seen the crossover.

I randomly decided to watch the first eight episodes of "Another" again. I really need to watch something new.

Oh...oh no. Do you really?

I mean, I have low standards. And, I mean, I think maybe I've seen one or two whole eps of TTG ever (like who knows, maybe that awful 'waffles' episode represents the entire nadir of the series and the rest is okay). But I'm kind of coming at TTG off of 'Teen Titans' proper, a show I quite enjoyed, and comparatively TTG hurts.
