I muttered 'light as a board, stiff as a feather' for 2 days straight and now I've ascended, ;aughing at olympus and zeus is crying

honestly, the fact we're getting two opens up the door to us getting even more in the future as a shared universe thing like the marvel studios movies. that's actually really awesome in my opinion, well as long as their both good. if they suck then I'll just nope out of the reboot universe and stick to the original two and the 360 game. as I said earlier I really don't care about gender in these movies as long as the actors are good and the movies don't suck.
beware the power of Bahamut\'s eldest son.

^...yeah.
I mean, Winston was kind of the jobber of the group in the first two movies, but he wasn't an annoying stereotype. The script treated the character with respect.
So, are we entirely sure this isn't a complete series reboot? The trailer seems not to be sure its own self.
Like, the trailer refers to the events of the previous films at the start (although I'd personally question referring to it as 'four scientists' saving the day, which isn't strictly accurate, but whatevs). So you'd kind of think the Ghostbusters and their car would be iconic in-universe after saving the world twice, especially after being given the key to the city in GB2. You'd think the ghostbusting tech would be old hat. So why do we have characters reinventing the wheel as far as the technology goes, and why are the new crew all gobsmacked at the thought of driving around in a hearse? It seems wrong.
