^ I can't think of any adult animation in the vein of Pixar/DreamWorks. Is it all foreign or indie or something?
I hate the idea that anything is just for kids. Video games, animation, and figurine collecting gets it the hardest. Strange how music, film, and literature is immune. I guess it's all more mainstream.
Thinking back to adult animation, I would love to see something like Pan's Labyrinth done that way.

^ I'm thinking more TV shows - The Simpsons, South Park, The Boondocks, Archer, etc - and more just general animation rather than just Pixar/Dreamworks style. But yeah, I feel like those two studios would have to change up their visual style quite a bit to really make a great adult-oriented film. I'd love to see them try though.
Of course in Japan it's a different story. I would never show a child Perfect Blue or End of Evangelion, like, ever.
I can kind of tell Pixar wants to tell darker stories but I bet Disney has them chained up like Microsoft had Rare pumping out Viva Pinata and Kinect titles.
I'd love to see an adult oriented Pixar film in my time.
The first viva piñata game was fab af I haven't played the others tho XD

'Viva Pinata' and TiP were terrific. Anybody can't appreciate an awesome game just because it isn't precisely what they was expecting is no son of mine.
...they had really nice music, and the graphics were real pretty and vibrant. The character design was great.
I like Leafos. She's cute. That Irish accent of hers, boy. Wandering about the garden all barefoot and all.
TiP= 'Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise'. The sequel.
CBFD= 'Conker's Bad Fur Day'
BK3= ' Banjo-Kazooie 3', the game people think they want, except 'Nuts & Bolts' is the game they actually want, only they don't know it yet
Ah thanks. I haven't played CBFD bc I don't have a n64 and it don't seem to be on eshop, nor have a played any more of the old BK's except the demo of the first on xbl and some gba one xD but I did play nuts and bolts a while ago and yeah it was way fun lol
If you're keen on a rad 3D platformer, you could do a dang sight worse than 'Banjo-Kazooie'.
Only fair to say. I believe it's on the cheap just now on the XBLA store (pretty sure that ends tonight, though).
AWE SHIIIIT ITS ONLY 6 BUCKS

It's alright. A good single-player experience. I will say that the XBox version's multiplayer isn't a tithe on the N64's, though. Boy. They could so easily have just given us 'Beach', 'Heist', and 'War'. (I'd have played 'Beach' online. 'Beach' was rad.) Instead we got a just-okay squad-based shooter. TF2, but not as good. Wuff. What might have been...

Man. Grunty.
First time I played through BK, I did so without accruing any extra honeycombs, or the double life-bar at the end. Taking the witch down with only five honeycombs is a reach, homey. Doable, but not a bit of easy.
Comparatively, the endgame battle in N&B was a cakewalk. About the only bad thing I'll say about the game------Grunty goes down in about fifteen seconds. Like, I realise I designed my vehicle specifically to obliterate her, but it was still a bit of an anticlimax.
