I am one of the very few who liked the ending of HIMYM. But the whole build-up to it was badly executed.
I don't care if he ended up with the mother or Robin. The ending was just rushed and bad.
They had the ending planned since season two and it would have been a good ending... had the show ended in season two. Then they spent seven years writing themselves into a corner and the last episode was entirely dedicated to escaping that corner, destroying whatever they had to in order to do so.

It's really generic. Like a **** version of Friends. Then again, when your competition is Everybody Loves Raymond and A Guy, His Kid, and Charlie Sheen...

...what? I'm not sure you've seen the show at all. Whether or not you can agree that it's good, it is irrefutably more unique than Friends.

Among those types of shows, Two and a Half Men was my favorite, actually. Never went out of my way to watch it but Charlie Sheen is great.

I hate it when the male lead and female lead who start out hating each other end up in rabu 5evr. It usually feels forced and the chemistry is terrible. There is no need for them to end up together like seriously NO NEED

Bad rapping played for laughs. It's like nails on a chalkboard.

Unrealistic expositionary dialogue.

^ Under that second category, whenever a person on the phone repeats everything they hear out loud.

If a character is driving, and they have their head turned toward the passenger instead of paying attention to the road, and the other character doesn't point out that they need to pay attention to the damn road... arrgh!!

I hate it when someone pops out of a location that is invisible to the camera but would be TOTALLY VISIBLE TO THE OTHER CHARACTERS ONSCREEN

AND YET SOMEHOW THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO NOT HAVE SEEN THEM

^ Strong Bad: What are you doing over there?
Homestar Runner: Oh, I'm pretty much here every week. It's just that usually I'm behind the black.
Strong Bad: Guess I should start looking to the right more often.

I hate it in horror movies when a killer or monster is about to kill someone, and just before it happens, they show you the sky, or the moon or whatever while you hear the victim being killed. I denno, I'm pretty shallow and I have no imagination, I want to see the person getting killed, not just hear them scream.

I hate laugh tracks. It's kind of why I hardly watch sitcoms anymore. Is it just me or sitcoms nowadays insert like a million laugh tracks? I really want to get into the new Odd Couple since I was a fan of the old one and the movie, but the laugh tracks every five seconds is going to bother me. You literally know when a punchline is coming and it's jarring to sit through.

^ Sitcoms have largely moved away from laugh tracks aside from CBS stuff. A lot of the most prominent non-CBS sitcoms I can think of from the last decade or so: The Office, Parks & Rec, 30 Rock, Community, Scrubs, Arrested Development, New Girl, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Modern Family are without laugh track
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

Oh, I actually didn't realize that until now.

Holy crap - CBS IS like the only channel that still vehemently uses laugh tracks. . . .huh, how about that.

Although all those I would consider "major sitcoms." There's also lesser watched stuff like Last Man Standing or Mom etc etc. Though I can't recall if those are CBS too at the moment. .
