Who are all your favourite witches in movies, tv shows and anime?


Mine include:
Winifred, Mary and Sarah Sanderson (Hocus Pocus)
Madame Mim (The Sword in the Stone)
Phoebe, Prue and Piper Halliwell (Charmed)
Hermione Granger, Minerva McGonagall and Bellatrix Lestrange (Harry Potter movies)
Samantha Stephens and Endora (Bewitched)
The Grand High Witch (The Witches)
Glinda the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch of the West (The Wizard of Oz)
Lamia (Stardust)
The White Witch (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe)


I probably missed a heap... but anyway, who are yours? :D

^^^Ooh, Madam Mim was good.

...can't think of anyone hasn't been mentioned already. I mean, there's Lina Inverse from 'Slayers'------she was cool.

Hey, there was a pretty awesome witch in 'Into the Woods'. Bernadette Peters played that part in this one stage adaptation they used to show on PBS all the time. I think Meryl Streep's got that role in the upcoming film version. Great character.

Can we talk about videogame witches? Because Morrigan and Flemeth from 'Dragon Age' are both pretty neat. Wynne, too. (There were a couple witches in DA2, but they were lame, like most of the rest of the game was.)

Ohh, and Flonne from 'Disgaea' was cute and hilarious.

Most of my favorite witches have been named already. But yesssss the Charmed Ones. OH RITA REPULSA FROM THE POWER RANGERS
