Idea For a DC/Marvel Crossover

#1

Post by Morningriser » Fri Nov 07, 2014 10:13 pm

Although it is unlikely, assuming one day DC and Marvel can co-exist and create a crossover I have an idea for what they could do.

When Krypton exploded it not only released Doomsday but it also released the symbiants. As one of them, Venom, made it to the moon and then to Earth, the others sensed life forms in the distance which were believed to be General Zod and his people. The symbiants followed them to Earth but arrived years after Zod was defeated. They began finding hosts, one of whom was Sinestro. Venom then began to feel the presence of others like him which drew him to Sinestro and the others. They began destroying parts of the world which first brings in Spiderman and Green Lantern to battle them but later Superman is called in but is attacked and overcame by multiple symbiants making him even more powerful and dangerous than Sinestro. Eventually the world becomes endangered and threatens the lives of everyone which brings the likes of the Hulk, Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Captain America and Thor together to fight for the world and try to save Superman. Eventually they are able to capture one of the symbiants and are able to strongly intensify the parts of it that attract other symbiants as to lure all the others in to an area where some sort of super nuke is used to destroy them all. Superman is among them but is able to survive the explosion. The symbiant who used Sinestro as a host had left him to go to the area it was drawn to. In the end the world is safe but it is revealed that Venom was able to stay away from the blast area and is still alive.

Would any of you like that?

Val doesn't read comics, so that's just a big paragraph full of names he doesn't recognize.

How would Krypton's destruction release Doomsday and the symbiants? Tear a hole through space and time allowing access to a parallel dimension? But planets are destroyed all the time and that doesn't happen. Maybe there was a secret device on Krypton that could alter spacetime and when it exploded it caused the rip. And how does Doomsday later play into this? Because you only mention him once.

Doomsday lived deep down in Krypton near the core and when it exploded he was freed into space where he flew to Earth. Symbiants are attracted to certain energies and other symbiants which is why they followed Zod and his army until they could sense Venom and Carnage. when they got to Earth they attached to Sinestro and Superman because of their powers.

Oh, see the way I understood it was that we would treat the DC and Marvel universes as separate parallel dimensions.

And I had a total brain fart forgetting that Doomsday is DC. I was thinking of Thanos. I forgot about Doomsday's background.

The only comic book crossover I want is Goku VS Superman. I'd buy the **** out of it.

To appease fanboys of both sides but still get a victory instead of a draw, there could be two versions, a comic and a manga, each done by whoever currently does each series (Some woman named Ooishi or something is doing Dragon Ball manga stuff lately).

Superman could fraudulently attain victory in his comic via PIS and Goku could curbstomp Superman legit in the manga.
