Another porn iteration of LotR. This one rated far lower by virtue of being boring softcore biz. Bad writing, acting and humour isn't much of a substitute for the real thing. Still, I guess there was an ounce of effort put into it (the music in particular was nice-------what can I say, I'm a sucker for sitar) and the ladies were quite attractive, even if they didn't really do anything terribly interesting. (Not to sound like some kind of porn snob, but "girlies kissing on each other and rubbing each others' tummies" is a little tame, as it goes.)

Maybe Peter Jackson should consider putting more ladies in the altogether in his next sh*tty Tolkien trilogy. Like it could hurt.

Yeah, so I really like superhero movies and sci-fi. I put a lot of Bs, which to me are good movies that just lacked that spark to me. Overall, no really bad movies (except Threads of Destiny, but that was a fan-made movie so doesn't count), just a few disappointments. But my favorite movie of the year was probably Boyhood, which will probably be the only movie on the list that I look forward to buying the DVD of.

If it seems like I'm giving out a lot of super high ratings, all the movies with a dash in front are movies I've already seen and am rewatching because I love them, and a lot of the others tend to be movies that are held in super high esteem anyway that I just happen to agree with.

That being said, giving five films I've never seen before A+ ratings (12 Angry Men, Last Hurrah for Chivalry, Why Don't You Plan in Hell, Nobody's Daughter Haewon, and Poetry) still seems a bit high, especially considering that three of them came out within the past five years.
