Favorite hbo show?

#1

Post by Thanous » Fri Oct 24, 2014 9:52 pm

I'm sure most people will say game of thrones but I'm gonna ask anyways.

I'm probably one of the few that would say this, but my favorite is the newsroom. I just finished the last episode of the season, and I gotta say that's gotta be the best season ending [thats not the end of a show] I've seen in a long time.

Followed by flight of the conchords, the comeback, then game of thrones respectively.

Flight of the Conchords
I muttered 'light as a board, stiff as a feather' for 2 days straight and now I've ascended, ;aughing at olympus and zeus is crying

'Deadwood' and 'Rome' are favouritest. I also quite like 'Boardwalk Empire' and GoT, and FotC.

Haven't ever watched 'The Wire'. I actually bought the first season sight unseen at Best Buy couple months back, after hearing some of you lot talk it up so much (it was fifteen bucks, like why not......hell, I've spent more than that in one go on nickel commons at the Magic shop).

Assuming he's talking about Magic: the Gathering, which seems likely, we'd be referring to the cheap common cards the shopkeep at most gaming stores will sell you in bulk for about a nickel a pop.

^Correctamundo.

Rad cards are all well and good, but, like, I prefer a deck that I can more-or-less huck in a trashbin if I so choose.

...I like shuffling cards. The very act is enjoyable to me, in a tactile sense-------it's nice. I could do it for hours. Why the hell would I ever bother with Magic cards I felt I had to treat daintily.

Haha, I agree with that. I shuffle the **** out of my cards, even the ones with value. A lot of people double sleeve, but I say nay, keep your lavish double sleeves. My cards will thwack against each other in my hand mid-game with minimal concern for long-term value and they will like it.
