I'm sure we've all encountered something weird when downloading a movie or show, whether you purchase it or...not.

The other day I downloaded an episode of game of thrones, and it was in russian.

and today I rented mr. peabody and sherman (the new movie) and it was in chinese with subtitles...

...chinese subtitles.

One time I rented Ponyo from the video store and it turned out to be a Chinese bootleg with gibberish English subtitles. Let them know and they gave me my money back. Man, that was weird.
I muttered 'light as a board, stiff as a feather' for 2 days straight and now I've ascended, ;aughing at olympus and zeus is crying

One time I actually downloaded the Nightmare Ned series and found that it was all in a language I couldn't recognize - I think it might have been Greek.

Shame because pretty much nobody taped that show and/or uploaded it to the internet. >.<;

Once I imported a bootleg anime DVD from Hong Kong. (It was the second One Piece flick.) Turning the subtitles on put two sets of English subtitles on at once-----a sensible grammatical one, directly below a goofy Engrish one. It was like someone had translated the movie badly, and then someone else came along and cleaned up the translation, but then forgot to get rid of the original version. It was weird, and kind of made the movie unwatchable------there were times when the subtitles took up dang near half the screen.
boo--------------a real american weirdo
