Has anyone ever seen that? That is the best anime ever!
Current motto: Build a man a fire, keep him warm for a night. Set a man on fire, keep him warm for life.

DVD set = Pretty faithful to the originals.Originally posted by KirbyKing:
It was great, but it's bothering me that they cut stuff in the American version.
The english VA's are great. Especially Wolfwood's and Legato's.

Someone *AHEM* spoiled someone's death. X_x Um. From the single episode that I saw (coincedentally the first one he appears...) it's pretty good. I'd want to watch it in Japanese, though.
The hills are shadows, and they flow
From form to form, and nothing stands;
They melt like mist, the solid lands,
Like clouds they shape themselves and go.

I will own a pair of boots with knives in them before I die. And I will groin-kick someone with them.

Spoilers in my post
I guess i'm weird, but after awhile Vash got on my nerves. I mean he really got on my nerves to the point of pissing me off.
First half of Trigun, his pascifism(sp?) was alright. It made things fun and funny. Except for the BDN episodes it worked well for the show...then came the Gung Ho Guns.
Thats where I started getting annoyed by Vash. His refusal to kill just began to get ridiculous. Here we had a group who would kill everyone in the path of them carrying out their orders. And they caused a major mess in the process. Vash began to do his best to defeat his opponents and not kill them. He did this for Domonique the Cyclops, Monev the Gale, E.G. Mine, Rai Dei the Blade, Midvalley the Hornfreak, and my fav. Caine the Longshot. Vash doesn't grasp the concept of who these people are working for and what it means for them to fail their job in killing Vash.
He ends up costing the lives of other people, his enemies who he tries to spare, and even his best friend. Vash did kill Wolfwood. He wasn't the one who pulled the trigger. But Wolfwood would have survived his fight with Chapel the Evergreen if he had stuck to his usual methods of fighting.(Unless Legato pulled the same freaky stuff he did in the manga where he animated the dead body of Midvalley)
Oh well.
