There was this tv-special film that was based on the Hatfield and McCoys feud that had this sort of Fall of the House of Usher vibe to it that I liked a lot as a kid, but that's all I can think of for the classic stuff. They get cred for the pantsless batman screw-up though:

A lot of Scooby Doo Where Are You was about people committing crimes like smuggling. In fact I can only think of two episodes where it was a misunderstanding: The robot that malfunctioned and the guy trying to find his inheritance (And the real villain was under an even worse costume)

N64 and PSX emulators are still plenty easy. Don't ask me about GC though, although that's more "I refuse to believe GC can be emulated perfectly"
