okay four days later i am now done with the series so far.
Tyrion is obviously the best character. Arya's in second place, Maisie Williams is a fantastic child actress. Joffrey's a dick but everybody knows that. Daenerys' story in season one was great, but it was ****ing borefest 2012 in season two.
also theon has crazy eyes

so let's talk season 3 because it's been going on.
I'm so ****ing shocked that they've managed to make Jaime likable this season. The Brienne/Jaime material was by far my favorite stuff in the season so far.
Dany's back to her story not being so boring now that she's like, actually doing ****.
Arya's probably my favorite character at the moment, if not only because Tyrion hasn't had much to do for most of the season.
That being said, Tyrion at the wedding was brilliant.
Sam is badass now and I love it.
I don't know what the hell is happening with Theon. Just, every one of the torture scenes is just... ugh.
And nothing else major has happened in this season at all. Not one bit. Especially in last week's fairly uneventful episode.

the Thing that Happened In The Last Episode is great and its basically the point where **** Gets Real for the rest of the book
unfourntely the book was split into 2 seasons for the third book but i guess it means season 4 will be amazing. and then after that the show crew will hopfully manage to keep the cool stuff from 4+5 while pruning out the all the bad stuff and bad prose left behind when GRRM went into Overdrive.

I expected:
I kept hearing this referred to as the "Red Wedding" and since there are a ****ton of weddings going on - Frey/Tully, Sansa/Tyrion, Cersei/Loras, Joffrey/Margaery I tried to assume which one had the highest chance of bloodshed happening. Naturally I figured that it would be the Joffrey wedding. Figured "Red Wedding" could be originally referring to an overall red motif to the wedding - Joffrey seems to wear red a lot, Margaery has red hair, so their entire decoration scheme is red and such. Then it becomes Red Wedding in another sense with bloodshed. I figured somebody would betray and capture Robb and Catlin at that wedding and take them to King's Landing just as Joffrey's wedding is taking place. Then Joffrey being the sadistic bastard that he is would have them killed as wedding entertainment. Of course, he would also force Sansa to watch up front as they die. Then Tyrion would punch him or even draw a dagger and then would be thrown in prison or something. Then Joffrey would do something to Sansa, maybe not exactly killing, for being associated with so many traitors in her life.
But what actually happened was much more shocking
I've watched the first couple episodes of Season 1, but I'm trying to stay ahead on the books. I'm about 2/3 through Book 2. The Jon chapters are kinda boring IMO, the Dany chapters are okay-ish...
I wasn't ever really on Team Stark (except for Arya she kicks arse). I'm Team Tagaryen. And I suppose Tyrion is p.cool too!
