Sin City is still intensely satisfying, if anybody wasn't sure.
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, however, seems to just kinda end. Yeah a plot thread gets resolved, but there are at least 3 more that don't.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
Sin City is so awesome. Still waiting for the next one. :/

Beautiful Creatures and another viewing of Mallrats (in addition to watching all those Harry Potter films with AI).
Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself.

^^Was Beautiful Creatures every bit as ridiculous as it looked?

^^Well, that's one thing we got.

Rifftrax Live: Starship Troopers. The feature is an exercise in
killing off the most likable character & turning the runner-up into a Nazi
& also in
everyone BUT Denise Richards being naked at some point
. The Rifftrax performance is an exercise in exactly how much funnier Kevin Murphy is than Mike Nelson or Jim Mallon...& that's NOT an insult to the latter two. :)

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Watched Dick Tracy for the first time since I was a kid. It holds up really well.

...call me crazy, but 'Dick Tracy' is kind of like the anti-'Sin City', isn't it.

The Family was a lot better than I'd expected it to be (my buddy & his fiance & I were gonna see The World's End, but that got derailed when her parents tagged along). I almost jumped out of my chair with excitement when
the film/debate guy announced that they'd gotten the wrong movie by mistake, because I instantly realized it would be Goodfellas.
:)

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Yes, but the characters and dialogue more than made up for it. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it, even with the hacked-to-death conflict.

Watched The One again, because hell yes.

^ if you're looking for anything even remotely related to the book, don't do it. Just don't do it. But if you're looking for an ok action movie with some cheap thrills, you could do a lot worse. It was worth the $2 I paid at the budget theater.

My hubby surprised me by taking me to see a special screening of "To Kill a Mockingbird," which is always lovely and moving.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Terry Gilliam off the rails. Heath Ledger's final film. Lily Cole nearly naked. An eerie prediction of Spider-Man. Wowsers.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
