Rugrats.
Ah, Rugrats. One of the first, and most well known Nicktoons. But the reason I like this show isn't purely for nostalgic purposes. One of Rugrats's greatest strengths was its willingness to show different cultures. How many shows, let alone a CHILDREN'S CARTOON, can brag that they've had specials for Christmas, Hanukkah, Passover, AND Kwanzaa? And it's not just in the holiday specials, either. There was one episode where Tommy and Chuckie go to a wedding, and search for cake. In that episode, one scene shows a Zen wedding, or a Buddhist wedding, I'm not sure. Another episode shows Chuckie and Phil running through some kind of festival, and we see many different cultures there, including a sumo wrestling match.
So, Rugrats exposed many children to all kinds of different cultures.

Apparently the creators of the show are huge Dr. Who fans. Makes sense...a kid leading his companions on crazy adventures of the imagination sporting his "screwdriver." I'd like to think that Phil and Lil are Donna. Also, they showed this in a toy store behind Chuckie. Some people say they even saw an episode that had the alien spaceship from the Dr. Who "War of Worlds" episode in one of the Rugrats episodes. This is part of why I LOVE this show.
